This looks fun. Too bad MU isn't involved.

Damn that's an impressive field
They're really gonna regret not asking Marquette to play given they will be the defending champions at that point
Should have replaced Portland and Portland State with Cal and Marquette.
Cal and Marquette will be hanging out in Maui.

I spend a lot of time in Portland for work. Given the choice of PDX or OGG, I'd take OGG any day of the week.
I'm sure our players would too!

OGG?!? Only the haoles use OGG... everyone else knows that JHM is where it's at.
And I can't even believe there is any regret on this thread. Maui Invite >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> [insert tournament here].
Yeah, I'm going to enjoy my trip to Maui a lot more than I would enjoy a trip to Portland.

Only 2 teams per conference allowed. Butler and Gtown got the nods for BEast, Oregon and Stanford for the P12.
Portland (well, more the surrounding area) is awesome.
I may make the Maui trip, I would not make the Portland trip. I'm happy with what we have.

As a tourist, I'd rather be in Maui.
As a basketball fan, I'd rather be in Portland.

Qualified or not, I'm pretty sure that's the first time in Earth's history that someone has uttered the words "I'd rather be in Portland."

I agree with this analysis.

I'd (much) rather live in Portland than in Maui.

Benny, Dude, first I'm an admitted haole from the mainland. Second, if you're going "there," the place where it is "at" on Maui is HNM. You avoid the six hour drive down the coast (at night) and it's bizzare to get off the plane, have your plane take off for Lahaina and then see all the lights go out. It's pitch dark out there.
We were picked up by someone on a golf cart. That's a first!!!!!

HNM? What..... I don't.... but..... meep.... THE DRIVE IS THE BEST PART, HANA!
Honestly I'd rather be picked up at JHM in a pickup truck
and driven to a golf cart because I'm actually going to be golfing three minutes after the bird is parked. And I'm sure as hell not flying from HNM to JHM at night... as you said, it's darker than ____ out there. And where the hell is Lahright? Suppose it's opposite of Lahleft, aϊna?
