Didn't somebody here say he was "gone"?
Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has agreed on a four-year, $100M contract extension, league sources tell @TheVertical.
This should help us with Kostas
That'll buy lotsa gyros, ai na?

Mods, can we please adjust the countdown clock to the date when Kostas will get his own 9 figure extension?
Could've gotten 5 years/$145M or 4 years/$124M. I love Giannis.

In contract talks Antetokounmpo expressed a willingness to take less than max to help Bucks retain talent. Took about $6M less than max.

Nope.
At least from what I read, that is $6M less in total. His 5th year would be ~$30M. Nice gesture but completely useless if you waste money like $13/yr on plumlee. It's too bad, because the Telly, Delly and Giannis deal were all very team friendly.
This also allows Jabari the team's 5th year exception when signing Jabari if they chose to.
OT kinda hints "superbar", a'inna?
Kostas joining in a year will be gr8

The Plumlee deal isn't great but it's better than the Delly deal.

100M guaranteed, where do I sign? 60M or more cleared after tax, saying the Bucks money, who would not take that? That is 5 times more than Herb paid for
that team, how times have changed.
