Go Longhorns.
Did the meteor I prayed for hit the stadium yet?

Yep...but the only damage was on the ND side.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess you aren't a fan of T.U.

Out of respect for TAMU, and for historical accuracy, it's T.U.
Couldn't care less about the Longhorns. Except that they beat ND.
That was a lot of fun.
Texas kept trying to hand 'em the game, but ND just wouldn't take it.
I'm guessing ND will beat my favorite team (Nevada) next week, but very possibly will lose to my favorite team (Michigan State) the week after.

I'm pretty sure my favorite team (Akron) will be taking a loss this weekend, as will my 2nd favorite team (Nevada). I do think my 2nd favorite team (Michigan State) gets a win next weekend, but I think my favorite team (Georgia State) takes a loss next weekend. I think my favorite team (Michigan State) finally gets a win in a few weekends while my 2nd favorite team (Duke) loses.
Not a good start to the year for my 2 favorite teams.

That's a lot of math.
ND sucks.

My head hurts now. You owe me a beer as compensation for the pain and suffering you caused from me reading that.

Longhorns may think they are the University of Texas, really they are just a university in Texas.
My guess is UH just punched its B12 ticket with its win over OU.
Presentations to B12 committee are over the next two weeks. UH can bring popcorn and a game tape.
Go Coogs

You very well might be right, but it would be pretty funny if they based their decision on one game.

But more importantly, what formal attire are they going to wear to the cocktail party?

The whole decision will undoubtedly be based on many factors...but if the committee was on the fence, I could definitely see a game as big as the OU win putting them over the top.

Obviously there is much more...Tier One University, 13-1 last year also w/win over Fla Sate in Peach bowl, Houston (4th largest city in USA) TV and recruiting makes a B12 venue here an imperative (cant afford to let us go to Pac 12 who have also met with us), TAMU...the next closest to Houston pulled out to SEC, UT backs our joinder, top ranked Tx college FB team over the last 2 years
....this one game was only an exclamation point to an already very likely invite...assuming they are willing to play us now. lol

Understood.
Good luck. B12 gets bashed some, but definitely better to be in that than the AAC.
