We're traveling to MKE for the 1st time since graduation ('92) and am interested in attending Madness on October 7th.
Any advice on getting into this event? Is it sold out already?

No. You can just walk in for free the day of the event.

Do you still have them? I'll give you $10,000 each for them!
(Hey, the strategy worked for the Cubs when they outbid themselves for Mel Rojas!)

This year? Probably not overly quickly. If you want seats I'd say be there 15 minutes before doors open maybe? I actually have no idea. But you could walk in after the event starts and still get a spot in the Al.

Since they have built a weeklong Homecoming Event around Marquette Madness, I am not sure the old rules apply anymore. Here is a link. Stay tuned.

Last year, my nephew was on campus for a visit on MM. There was an event in the afternoon, with coaches and players in the lot across the street couple of hours before MM. Keep an eye on the athletic department's web site to see if they will do a repeat.
I've been on campus the day of MM a couple of times. Students would line up several hours in advance, as it was FCFS. I believe you could always get in, just not get a premium seat if you didn't wait in line. The lines will likely shorter this year.
