Title: MU in sportsline power rankings...
Post by: IAmMarquette on December 27, 2007, 10:48:45 PM
Frank Burlison (who?) has MU in at #7. Seems a little high.

Savannah St. has apparently already played 17(!) games!

You'd think it was too high until you try to find some team to replace them. It is a year for parity.

In any case, the BE season will have Pitt. MU ,GTWN. and some others bouncing up and down the polls all  winter. Many good teams will fall out of the top 25 for days at a time. Only Memphis is likiey to stay put.
UNC will get beat on the road on the ACC.

How about Michigan State who just beat Texas and whose only loss is to UCLA. Or UNDEFEATED Pitt, who just beat a Duke team we lost to. Hell, even Duke who beat us head to head and whose only loss is to a very good Pitt team.
