If there was an ounce of truth to the transfer rumors (and I have no idea if there was) it could be interesting if he leaves UNC now, sits out the spring and fall semesters, and returns for another school next spring. I think that could be done under NCAA rules, but I may be wrong.

this is a fairly big deal for UNC.  They really only go 8 deep now;  granted, those 8 are basically all mcdonalds AA's, but it will hurt them.  so if you can get them in foul trouble, they will thin out fairly quickly...

Looks like its time for the yearly Quentin Thomas appearence, which is followed  very quickly by the puzzling "how was Quentin Thomas a top 60 recruit?" question. 

Lawson's going to have to play a ton of minutes now.
