Wife just texted some MU kids hurt--gun fire. I'll look into it.
EDIT--apparent discharged gun when someone dropped gun in vestibule.
Some students hurt--but not shot.
Some idiot prematurately shot his weapon inside Sobelman.
Minor injuries to the MU patrons.

Prematurely? When was he intending to shoot his weapon inside Sobelman's?

You never know. He may have been underwhelmed by the burger.
Was probably getting ready to rob the 7-11 across the street.
In before the inevitable lock
Nothing to see here. Move along. Injuries to Marquette folks did not even require medical attention.
Here's a link if you really need it.

Didn't intend to overreact and make it a big deal--agree with Chick.....nothing to see here.
brewcity77 probably had some friends go on the call. Maybe he can get some inside info.
Chicos would have said the injuries would have been fatal had a knife been dropped instead of a gun.
Sorry ... couldn't resist!
I ban myself from writing again in this thread!!!!
My friend was 4 feet away when it happened...scary stuff.

This thread is really going places. Hooray for thinly veiled political ad hominem sniping.
Sobelmann's on Wells is so much worse than Sobelmann's on St. Paul. Since no one was critically hurt, the real tragedy at that location is still the shuttering of Angelo's.
If only there were some good guys with guns in there they could have defended themselves and prevented this needless tragedy.
I thought pro athletes only shot themselves in strip clubs

i thought the burgers were really good! i couldn't afford angelo's back in the day though so i wouldn't know how good or bad it was

No material difference in the quality of the food. I've eaten at both plenty of times.
These accidents will become more frequent in our concealed carry culture.

Obviously this was a thug, no one wants to come out and say it. The lack of description of the shooter in all the press commentaries is the biggest tip off.
