6' 9" PF from South Sudan.
He fills a need, let's not let the details get in the way.
Besides we have as much a connection to him as we do to Alec Peters.
30-year old man poses as teen, stars as high school basketball player

A star high school player in Canada has been arrested on accusations that he is actually a 30-year old man.
Jonathan Nicola, a refugee from South Sudan, was arrested at the Canadian border last week. He is currently being held on charges of "contravening the Immigration Refugee Protection Act," according to a report from the Windsor-Star.
"There's really not a whole lot to say," a spokesman for the school district told the Windsor-Star. "Because of the fact this is a matter that's still outstanding before the federal authorities, obviously we can't really comment on it. Beyond that there's not a whole lot to say."
When Nicola first arrived in the country, he told officials that he had just turned 17 years old. He was in Canada on a student-visa, attending Catholic Central High School as a 11th-grader. The 6-foot-9 Nicola was even leaving with his high school team's head coach.
Might have some elegibility left :)
A true man among boys.

Where were they going?
I'm guessing that he is eligible for NCAA Division I. I remember stories of guys playing in college after stints in the military.
I certainly understand why he did what he did, but again I'm guessing that being accused of "contravening the Immigration Refugee Protection Act" would probably disqualify him in accordance with what MU is now looking for in recruits.
Since he was playing last year in a Canadian HS, I guess that he's not talented enough to have been recruited into Division I, otherwise, he would have been recruited before now.

Why do we do this every off-season ... Start a thread about every single senior who is still available during the summer and then have a wet dream about him coming to MU?
Why do we think he every knows where MU is, let alone is interested? For all we know, he thinks we are in the UP.
Hmmm

Is the UP still the UP to some one from Canada?

Bravo, sir.
I think the NCAA has an age limit. 26 is in the back of my mind. There is an exception for military service. I would be surprised if this guy is eligible. This goes back to when McGuire signed Andy Friedrich (?), who came from a military team. Maybe the rules have changed since then.
I was hoping we'd get a high school senior, not a senior citizen.

Next time I'll use teal for the slow kids.
Bravo, sir.

Well aware it was teal Heisy. The point is you complained about someone else creating a "pointless" thread (which is ironic on a nuclear level) and then you followed it up by posting a much more pointless thread the next day.
High comedy good sir. High comedy.

Since I was also quoted...if you can't appreciate the irony, well, I guess you may be Alanis Morrissette.

Yes, I was illustrating an absurd thread (a wet dream about Peters , someone who has not announced he is transferring and has no obvious connection to MU) with an even more absurd thread.
Amazing the number of people that took it seriously.

Heisy, everyone saw what you were doing. It wasn't that clever. What you still don't seem to get that you are the king of starting pointless threads. So your original comment in the Alec Peters thread was Fing hilarious and deserves to be rehashed.
As far as age limits go, one of the top big men on the California junior college ranks, 6-9 Deadre Dickson from Bakersfield, took 3 years off before enrolling in college, so he will probably be going the NCAA Division 2 route in California.
