The Naus Haus.
Yes yes yes!
Tumbleweed Dining Hall
Awesome idea!
The FB group up in the 180 participant range in less than 24 hours.
Here's a thought for you. Every year John Naus, SJ sent out not less than 3500 Christmas cards. We're working with Advancements to get the list that was lovingly maintained by some friends during Fr. Knaus' later years. Sure would be nice to have a cause many of us can get behind. We'd sincerely appreciate your active participation if you're inclined. Thanks.
What a clown. ;)
Fr. Naus lived with us on 10th floor. His room was on 10 N. He said he lived on that wing because of a rebellious soul he was trying desperately to save.

Fr Naus moved in the year after my stay on 10N. I think he was put there to exorcise the demons which infested the tainted atmosphere...
I wonder how he felt about the album art we put up.

We all came out to Montreux
On the Lake Geneva shoreline
To make records with a mobile
We didn't have much time
Frank Zappa and the Mothers
Were at the best place around
But some stupid with a flare gun
Burned the place to the ground
Okay, was it really necessary to hijack this thread? Come on, guys.
Jesuit Twin towers...the Naus Haus and Wild Hall
I can get behind this. Fr. Naus was the first guy in the collar I met visiting campus and he immediately put me on the Christmas card list. I was sold.
I do think Scoop should pay a nominal fee to change the hall's name for targeted recruits. YoungNaus and Haus(er) of Naus have a nice ring to them.

Fr. Naus overheard his share of Deep Purple on 10th.
There....back on track. ;D

Song immediately started playing in my head when I saw the picture of the Mothers.
Summer of 2012 when my nephew came to visit campus. It was a last minute decision to visit Milwaukee (from Nashville, shoulda called Chick) so we couldn't coordinate an official campus visit. Fr. Naus spent 30 minutes with us. Almost closed the deal, but he couldn't bear the thought of winter. I think he's on the Christmas card list.
Machine Head. Still listen to it on occasion.

I have the recording of that Zappa show, great show with Flo & Eddie up until FZ requests that everyone calmly exit the building.

I was buds with Gary. Thanks for mentioning him. He was a great guy.
"Naus Haus" is a good idea but I'd rather see a naming system where each wing has the name of an MU legacy establishment. The Avalanch wing, the Ardmore wing, the Hegarty's wing, the Angelo's wing etc.

There were never any bars on the Marquette Campus. Therefore, we are unable to name any wings after bars.
Um, Mugrack.
