Nice idea, will be interesting to see how well it works and if they are able to get some former players back to attend.

What year did homecoming go away?

I hazily recall that it used to be centered around soccer, which probably wasn't great for event attendance but nice to have some recognition for the soccer teams.

I'm pretty sure Marquette had an event labelled Homecoming when I was either in school or just out of school.

I might have included a beer mug next to the grill.  Show the alums, that this might in someway resemble the fun you used have between 11th and 19th.

They originally were going to call it Chick Bingo, but that got nixed.

"Chick Bingo" is commonly referred to as "Bingo."

We had one in the mid-2000s when I was there. I believe it was soccer-centric. I know of no one who went.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2016
Hot Cookie Night | 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Cobeen Hall
Experience one of Marquette's tastiest traditions. Enjoy a hot cookie, ice cream and milk.

WTF?

Marquette's tastiest tradition is at 16th and Wells. There should be a Real Chili night.

Getting hot cookie's in Cobeen....in the fall? That makes sense, good thing this isn't a spring time event, the ice cream machine is brutal with time  8-) ;D

While I had a few hot cookies in Cobeen, I usually ended up with ice cream.

Nothing to lose.   Homecoming is a non-event at MU historically.   So, nothing but upside.
