I like how Tom Izzo is so nonchalant and semi happy about losing Deyonta Davis to the pros. They just reload. Looking forward to the day that MU is in the same position.

Hoping Henry goes as high as possible in the draft. Win Win for everyone.
Burger boys and one and dones are great and all, but gimme a Cheatham over a guy who plays 30 games in an MU jersey any day. I don't see MU getting one and done guys on a regular basis, and I am cool with that.

Second Stork volunteer opp in Shots Paul Saturday, hey. Also, NY2LA tourney at Hopkins HS. Could Kostas show up?

Think it depends. If you can keep getting them consistently idk why you wouldn't want them.
If it's a once in a blue moon like Henry. Yeah, I'd prefer a bunch of Cheatams and Lazars. Or Jimmy and Jaes
Are we still honestly even looking at Kostas?

Because I don't think MU will start getting them consistently unless Wojo rattles off a run better than Buzz did his first 5 years.
Look at Izzo's history...... long.. LOOOONG run of "overachieving".. the McD's started arriving only several years ago with regular, and in moderation. Now it's on another level. Lovely.

imho, mu won't ever be at that level, nor do they need to in order to have great success. not all that long ago i remember izzo talking about how sick he was of chasing after elite recruits.

He may say it, but he's gotten elites like no other in recent times.
I guess this thread is mostly about Izzo. As to MU, Carlino made us a lousy team instead of a terrible team. This past season Henry made us respectable team instead of a lousy team. That is not building a program. Now we have a new one and done for next year. This seems all about right now for Wojo who I like a lot. I know he wants Duke so bad and can understand that. I just hope we can start really building a program. I have to admit that is probably old school but the Badgers I have to admit are doing it the right way.

To say Wojo is the equivalent of a 1-and-done is silly.
As for the Badgers doing it the "right way," you know they desperately wanted both Henry and Stone, right?

Agree Henry is and always was a one and done. Who is ours next year?
If you can't see wojo building a team/program for long term results, I don't think anything anyone says will change your mind.
Guessing by the tone, and especially last part, of your post that you should probably head back over to buckeyville.

Of course, you are completely wrong. The opposite is true.
Izzo had 8 McD's in his 1st 8 years as head coach. He had 5 from 2004 - 2015.

Wrong. Not even close to Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, North Carolina, UCLA, etc.

Katin Reinhardt will be a one and done and projected to start next season.

Lies.
If by 8 you mean 6. Leading up to 2010-11, he had six consecutive seasons of 0.
In the 7 years from the 2010-11 to 2016-17 classes, he's had 7.

Oh, brandi. "Like no other" is a saying that means "a lot of"...
If I meant "like no other program in college basketball" I would have said that.
PS - Izzo's first 15 years... an AA in 40% of his classes. Izzo's last 7 classes... 71%.
