Title: Transfer player

Dominik Olejniczak 7'0" from Drake. Interesting player. Would be a nice addition.

If we're losing 2, which we certainly could be, I'd be all in.

Dude is from Poland -- Wojo should be able to lock this up, a''ina?

I get that he's 7"0. But he was bench player for a Drake team that was ranked a lot closer to 300 than 200. There are a lot better available post players available on the transfer market.

If he couldn't get off the bench at Drake, I'm guessing he's aiming lower, not higher.

He's actually very new to basketball.

He won a starting job. Started the last 8 and played big minutes.

Absolutely insane eFG%. Solid free throw shooter; solid rebounder. TO's and FC's will improve.

Intriguing.

Drake HC and staff were really caught by surprise at his decision.  They clearly did not want or expect to lose him after only one year, liked his potential a lot, and was clearly one of their building blocks.

And as pointed out, he finished the season strong.

He'd be a nice get to replace Fischer.  We'll see, who knows if there's any mutual interest.  It looks like he's from Chicago however.

I like the idea of bringing him in.  Sit for one year behind Fischer and Heldt, then come in to replace Fischer the following year.

Would prefer Dylan Osetkowski if we're going the Polish big man route (more proven), but we'd have Olejniczak for 3 years.

Anthony Livingston if we are going the non-Polish route.

What about my post was incorrect? He was a bench player on a team that was ranked 250 or lower by every major ranking system. And there are a lot of other better post players available in the transfer market. Dylan Osetkowski, Daniel Giddens, and Dwayne Morgan are just names off the top of my head that I think would be better.

Don't get me wrong, I'd be happy if we landed the kid. I think he could develop into a high major player. But there are several other players I'd look at first.
