Muppet half time show rocks!
Wow! when an elite team like OU plays lights out, it's amazing.
OU is so good. Hield has the Kemba Walker effect with his team right now. Would love to see Nova pull it out tonight.
Oregon putting torpedo 1 in my bracket. :(
Feel good for Lon Kruger. Not the greatest coach in college basketball history, but has won wherever he has been.
Hield was en fuego!
Got one team in the FF. Now let's go Nova!
This Oklahoma team all year has reminded me of Marquette in 2003. One huge star surrounded by lots of solid supporting pieces. Like Marquette, they reached the Final Four, and like Marquette, they may face Kansas once they get there.

If KU makes it, a replay of that OU-KU game in December would be fun...but I'd like a different ending.
Loving Oklahoma. They have me first in the scoop bracket challenge ;D
Jay Wright really needs to get rid of that old wide pin striped suit. Must be 15 years old.

Man, Oklahoma is fun to watch & Buddy isn't human right now. Coach Kruger has done an impressive job here.
I also wish they didn't offer Theo John a couple weeks ago ;)

I was thinking a guard heavy 3 fest versus Nova would be insane....but I think either would be fun.
Loose handles by Hart and Jenkins. Ochefu looks good - needs to avoid second foul.

Nova's on their heels, reminiscent of Oregon earlier today and IU last night. If they can't flip that, could get ugly quick.

Don't think Jay has any suit older than 2 years he could lose the tie clip IMO.

Fortunately, Nova's defense looks pretty good so far. Offense rough. Taking some bad shots.

Yeah, he may be the only guy not to get the memo that tie clips died 25 years ago.
'Nova looking very good right now. Playing a very smart game. This is the best anyone has looked against Kansas thus far. I think 'Nova and Oklahoma would make an entertaining rematch. VU hung with the Sooners for a half before getting blasted in the second. The way they're playing tonight, they could stick with anyone.
Let's go Nova!! Looking good on this run

Did what they needed to do! Hope they can keep it up in the 2H, really need a FF rep from the BEast
Huge 3 by Jenkins at the end. Stole back the momentum going into halftime.
Nova held Kansas to 25 in the first half. That's some D!
After a first half that I thought was one of the better officiated games I can remember, the 2nd half has been officiated pretty terrible.
Both calls against Jenkins were BS.
Ellis getting all the calls in the second half. Weird
Refs have totally helped KU in the 2nd half - every call going against VU.
Kansas playing better and faster. Refs have little to do with that.

Disagree. The refs were calling it tight on Nova's D. That made them have to back off because of foul count.
What you see is the outcome. Offense playing faster because the D backed off. The refs caused that.

Yes, Kansas playing better, but they have been allowed to bang on D while Nova is called for a lot of ticky tack fouls.

Nope. Kansas was playing better and faster from the beginning of the half. Refs had nothing to do with it.
Refs did affect it. If a banked 3 and that slop off the top of the backboard goes, gotta believe Kansas is going to win
Ooops. Nova up 5.
I guess the refs changed back to their old way of calling the game. LOL.
Kansas puts up the largest lead of the tourney on 'Nova at 45-40...then the 'Cats blitz them with a 10-0 run. Great game right now. Hope the city can quiet down for the next 30 minutes or so.

Dude, the announcers even said the refs aren't consistent, showing Lucas getting away with a foul and then another ticky tack call on Nova.

Yep. That never happens. Always the refs fault.
LOL.
God, I thought we were bad on boob plays.
Wow, what a turn-around, twisting offensive rebound putback by Bridges. Really fun, good game to watch.
Huge put back by Bridges.
Both teams look so much more mature than Marquette.

Well no kidding. Their rosters have a bunch more experience.
Hart has to stop shooting.
I don't understand how that can NOT be a foul! Took his legs out!

Yep. Obvious call. Dove into Hart's legs.
It appears they changed it to a player control foul so no FTs. Really was BS, but ended up not affecting anything with Archi getting to go to the line.
Big 3 by Mason.
Great D by Arch, and heads up play by Bridges.
Good coaching. 4 Nova players turned to refs and were calling for a timeout immediately.
Only one not calling for a timeout was securing the ball.

Even if it wasn't a foul, I thought it was a travel. Would have kept him in the game though.
Jay Wright is one of the top 5 coaches in the country. His players do things right.
Nova wins, good 4 the BEAST!!!
Great job by Nova. Good for the league. Good for MU.

Yet in the last few years fans were questioning at every turn for not going far enough in the tournament.
Fans area funny bunch
Felt so weird to be yelling at the TV for Nova. Big East conference affiliation runs deep.

Damn...caught a run with 2:58 to play. Missed the end, but at least I came back to see Daniel Ochefu wearing a Final Four hat. How was the finish?
Jay Wright saying all the right things. Never disliked the guy like I did Pitino and others of his showboating ilk. Glad they're in the BE. I'm even coming around to Arcidiacono!

Good D by Nova forced a couple of TOs, and Nova hit FTs down the stretch (Arch 4-4 and Hart 2-2).

Sorry, we can't investigate Villanova ripping your heart out of your chest, the crime occurred outside our jurisdiction.

Villanova's win is huge for the Big East. The conference's first participant in the Final Four since realignment. Breakthrough moment.

The Big East imploded, started over from scratch and still got back to the Final Four before the Pac-12.

Speaking of jurisdiction, maybe Nova losing the 1 seed and the accompanying Philly regional final was actually a blessing in disguise. There was less pressure playing in Louisville, and probably a bit of familiarity re travel and hotel as well. So happy for the classiest program in the BigEast!
I hope a big chunk of time between now and November is spent on breaking the press. It's killed several teams this tournament, and we saw how much MU struggled this past season. Also wouldn't mind seeing our own press come out at times next year.

On the Monday after Selection Sunday, Syracuse was 300-1 to win the national title and 30-1 to win the Midwest Regional.
That was crazy. Great press, tightened up the zone and 23 goes bonkers. Still hate Boeheim, but good coaching job.
Mike Brey is wearing a walking boot.
I think this seals their fate

Watched the game at a BWW in Charlottesville. Got rally quiet.
Beachum just tried to do a Dwade vs ECU. Wade took off outside the lane so that was more impressive.
Still a nice dunk for a guy from ND

Gotta get better on the boob plays. Need to have a b, c, d, dd option. know what to do if there is sagging to the middle.
A bettor laid down $100 on Syracuse at the Westgate when they were 1000 to 1!
