Long before Messi, Renaldo, Maradonna, etc there was one of the greatest Johan Cruyff, who put Dutch football on the map. His style of offensive control of the game, passing, movement, etc revolutionized strategic approaches.
I saw him at Camp Nou in the late 70s...wow...just wow.
If you marveled at Barca during Pep's days a few years ago...that tremendous ball control, passing style had its roots with Johan....he taught every one how to play the beautiful game, even more beautifully.
Thanks Johan, for all you brought to the game.

Genius footballer.
Absolute legend. Sad to hear of his passing.
RIP to a legend. Kind of like Eusebio, Cruyff isn't mentioned as much as some of the other big names of the game but still spectacular.
