Replace UNC with Duke and you have my worst nightmare
Jacks and Irish tied up with 7 minutes left!
This is a great game! I need to see ND lose.

Concur.
Actually reminds me of how Marquette played under Bert.
Bert is a really strange f#ck but his teams were fun to watch. SFA plays with that same intensity.

Bert's intensity with the intelligence of Pete Carril
SFA is actually good. Like not just low major good, but legitimately a good team.

KenPom's log5 tourney rankings had them just above ND in the force ranking
These refs are trying to give the game to ND right now...That wasn't an over the back.
Lumberjacks got hosed in the last two minutes. 5 vs. 8.
wow
F#ck the refs
I fuckin g hate notre dame

That's was an atrocity
SFA went out of their game plan on last two possessions. They were working the ball all around previously, but let Walkup have the ball alone and no passes. He missed a three on one and then drove on the next, when ND knew he was going to be "the man". Two misses, but they gave ND a good game being a little short in height and Auguste was tough inside.

August is so overrated. They've been hyping him up for 4 straight years and he's still nothing more than a D league player.

Refs could have called a foul during that scrum at the end, either...but didn't. If ND doesn't get that put back, they would have plenty to bitch about.

Probably, but he went 8 for 9 from field, 16 points and 15 rebounds. SFA had no answer for him today.
Of all sports, college basketball officiating is by far the worst...with NFL refs a distant second.
I know everyone here hates ND, but those of you claiming the refs favored ND are nuts. Wolcomb could have been called for about 10 fouls in that game - got away with pulling jerseys, elbows, over the backs, etc.
It was a fun game to watch. Tough for either team to lose.

He may not be an NBA player but I'd take him on Marquette in a heartbeat. (And I believe we were in his final three or so.)
Well as if there wasn't already enough incentive to cheer for X, they have a chance to knock out Wisconsin and Notre Dame back to back. Let's. Go. X.

It was down to us and Notre Dame, as I remember. Marquette was the pretty clear leader until Brey convinced him that Notre Dame absolutely needed him. Really thought we had him in the bag. Huge miss, he's a fantastic college player.
Thanks brew. Looks like he made a good choice for himself.
