Good win, send the Cats home.

If this kid Howard is anything close to Ferrell or Ulis, I hope he picks MU.  Those two point guards are just outstanding.

Yeah...this may bring out the vitriol in some, but, I'm happy for Crean.   Great win and I'll never forget what he did for our program...far outweighs how he left.   And, a shout out post game to Trey Schwab...nice.

Go Hoosiers.  Shame about Morgan and Johnson.  This team might be able to win it all if not for injuries.  Anytime Kentucky is sent home, it's a good thing.  I've watched Marquette and Indiana do it three times now, and it feels great each time.

Didn't see the Kentucky game but Indiana looked REALLY good in round 1.

Nice win for IU.   Marveled at how Kentucky continued to settle for 1 on 1 jumpshots instead of attacking the basket with the Hoosiers so shorthanded.

Congratulations to Coach Crean. Delighted to see our coaching alumni do well.

Yogi is a difference maker.  Outplayed Ulis.  I said it before, this may be CTC's best coaching job. He didn't even look frenetic on the sidelines.  I think between the numerous off court issues and the injuries, he has crafted a well-balanced team capable of winning it.

Tar Heels next.

We'll see.

They are beatable, but a team has to be playing its best to do so.

I had Indiana +3.5 in those pools where you have 2 teams and keep them if they cover. The other team I drew? Wisconsin....

IU's injuries are pretty bad.  Best defensive player hurt again today in Johnson, and Morgan has been such wonderful backup...tough as nails.  I've watched him now dislocate his shoulder in 3 of the last 4 games....tough to watch. At full strength tough to beat Carolina, but with those two guys down....I don't know.

Ridiculous that UK and IU were in a 2nd round game, but this was the committee just playing power games to force the teams to play.

Now Calipari will say he refused to play IU on a neutral court, too.   ;D

Thank God they are young, the injuries are minor, and they have a full week to recover. I would hate for Tanned Tommy to use those two young men as an excuse should they lose to UNC.

Forget Wade, TC's secret to success is Kentucky.  He OWNS them in March.

3-0

All I kept thinking watching that game is this does not look like a Crean coached team, and that's a big compliment to Crean and the coaching job he did. IU won yesterday in large part because of coaching

Minor when your arm dislocates almost every game requiring surgery as soon as the season is over?  Johnson, has missed 5 of the last 6 games.  High ankle sprains suck.  Plus they're out McDonald's All American James Blackmon for 3 months.

He's had to play walkons the last few weeks.  Amazing coaching job.  UNC will be favored.

Actually 3-1.  IU lost to them when UK won the title in a game to go to the Elite 8.  That was the year IU beat UK at home on the last second shot, but in the tournament UK beat IU 102-90.
