Pirates with a great scout.   They are on everything Nova is trying to do at both ends.  Using superior length and athleticism and completely destroying the cats.

No. Until this year he's been pretty terrible at Seton Hall. This is his first winning league season. He couldn't get to the tourney with Theodore and Pope, and had 4 years wasted with one of the best players in the league in Fuquon Edwin.

Willard may start to get bigger looks, but there were many calling for his head this past off-season. He needs to do more than have one good year in my opinion.

A McDonald's All American who stays for at least his Soph year?  i'd take that at any position.

Looks like Nova made a run, but from what I watched, this Villanova team is really frustrating. I feel like they don't know their own identity.

Nova is a great inside team. They kill from inside the arc, but they prefer to shoot from range. When they get cold from three they try to shoot their way out of it when they should pound the interior. Hope they can make a deep run, but I could very easily see them getting knocked off early again.

Great last ten minutes.  What I expect to see in a BE championship.

Great second half, happy for the league and SH, sick of Villanova and the suit and arch

The big east tournament is far and away the best conference tournament. The atmosphere at the garden is unmatched. Special.

Providence/Creighton game in 2014 was great, but wow did Seton Hall & Villanova deliver!

Very exciting game.  Proved what a quality conference the BEast is.

Seton hall brings the fans too. They should be good next year as well and have a good chance of returning. Big east needs to have a good showing next year because it will be directly compared the the big ten tournament.

Had no choice after an up and down freshman year.  But he turned it around big time to unanimous All Big East and now BET MVP.  Great showing tonight by both teams.

If Michigan St. wins tomorrow, Nova probably loses the number one seed.  Would imagine loser of UNC/Va game remains a number one.

I was thinking the same, but was wondering if they maybe even get bumped to a 4, because of winning the BEAST.

Actually, kind of hoping Nova is a 2-seed so to lower outside expectations and give them a chip on their shoulder.

Seton Hall fans wanted him to move on before the season started.

I am becoming a fan of this Seton Hall team. However, I do not know what to do with them when I fill out my brackets. I love the way they are playing, but teams that do not have tournament experience can be shocked in the first NCAA round of the NCAA tournament, because they are not prepared for the intensity. Seton Hall is also a very poor free shooting team. I afraid that the Big East again will not have any teams make the Elite 8.

Xavier has Sweet 16 experience and is loaded. Obviously draw will matter, but they could win the whole damn thing.

I was at the tourney - great games on friday and sat and great attendence and energy in the building.  SH starts 5 sophomores and should be good for a couple of years.  Very short Uber or train ride for the East Coast programs so that certainly helps with attendence

You have a very good point about inexperience. However, the BET semi final  and final at the sold out Garden was about as intense as it can get and Seton Hall did fine. I think Seton Hall is on a run and this kid Isiah Whitehead is a true stud.

Be interesting to see how many of the sops hang around. It might be time for another Willard expedition to the Canaries.

Right or, probably wrong, bracketology has them as a 6 this morning.  Also has them matched against West Virginia as the #3 in Brooklyn, which would be one hell of a 2nd round game.

Edit:  That was ESPN I was looking at, USA Today has them as a 4
