Such a short turn around really kills our ability to run. And with so many regular season champs losing in their conf. Tourneys I'm not sure we Will get an NIT bid. So who wants to go to Vegas with me?

I believe Marquette will decline any bid that is not the NCAA or the NIT.

And they should.
Today screams "basta!"
At this point I don't think it matters...
Golf.
Sans the 1st halves against Georgetown and St. John's, the last few games have been painful. No defense.
I'd like to see em go to Vegas if we don't get into the NIT but I think that's still a decent possibility.
Vegas would be a fun trip for me.
Sign me up for Vegas. MU on the bubble, but on the wrong bubble.
shut it down for the year
There's a significant part of me that thinks ending the season with a performance and intense game like this could be a good carry over into next season. Anger and something to prove.

F*ckin' wants you to post a pic of yourself before he can decide, hey?
Vegas, baby, Vegas.
Early start on recruiting for $50, Alex.
Golf
Time to shut it down, tell Henry to avoid taking $10 million from the Philadelphia 76ers and stick around a year.
Time to teach our guys the meaning of the word "defense."
Time to recruit just a bit more depth.
Time to teach Luke that five fouls disqualifies him (as if he did not know that now).
We don't deserve anything but if offered any form of post season play I think you accept it. Just because this team is crazy young.

Well, if we make the NIT he will get 6 fouls. :)

Already been golfing.

dont we have a recruit near vegas -- two birds?
Gotta see what type of teams accept Vegas invites. My heart says play on!!
I hope we play on. If the NIT fills with low majors, we could certainly see teams like Northwestern and Creighton out in Vegas with us.
Vegas and golf - it's worked for me for 23 years!
CBI costs $30k-50k to play against directional schools.
Vegas costs $50k - 70k to play against good competition.
NIT = of course!
I think the Vegas 16 would be worth the investment in our youngsters. Give them exposure to the tournament environment again and develop them a bit more. Henry can stay there and get ready for the NBA summer league!

FWIW: #mubb locker room felt very different from a year ago after BET loss. No sense of finality among this bunch. They want to play more.

Wojo: "I feel like we can still play whether it's not in the NCAA or NIT, I think we've earned that."
Silver lining might be that HE sees that he needs to work on his game before transitioning to the NBA.
These kids have a few scores to settle next year in the BE.
I really enjoyed the season and they did grow up over the year and will be much improved next year. Coach did a fine job, he has his system installed, his staff in place, his team playing his style, I'm a believer.....

I don't understand this "needs to improve before transitioning to the nba" statement so many make. He will improve much faster when he is allowed to practice for 8 hours a day, not have to deal with classes, and not have the idiocy of ncaa regulations holding him back.

I think he's saying they deserve to play postseason but not in the NCAA.
When is the NIT selection? Ill have my hopes up. I think.
If the Vegas field looks appealing, sign up. We can use the extra money we got by playing the round robin through the SWAC in December towards the entry fee.

Oh really?
Someone has been away from Duke way too long.
Play some defense and maybe you;ll play some post-season
Saw some stuff on Twitter about UWM turning down a CBI bid. Players weren't too pleased

That would piss me off.
