Henry is starting.

Bulldog livers on the menu?
HE certainly not taking it easy in warm ups. Looks like he's a (near, at least) full go.
Cohen needs to play zero minutes.
And I think we won't see Cohen for the rest of thegame. What the hell was that
Well time for a nap ai na?
Cohen stupid foul
Fischer just picked up number 2, no surprise again.
Six turnovers in six minutes. Cannot wait until next year when the "young, inexperience" excuse is over.
Way to go in game though.
Jujuan takeover time?
Guess the zebras do not know a charge. What idiots.

Ball don't lie though.
Well that's 3 horseshit calls in a minute.
This can't be real can it?
Luke's third foul has to be one of the dumbest decisions I've seen someone make all year.
Just a boneheaded foul by Fishy!
Luke , oh boy. Stupid foul after a great stop. Yes, that was a foul, but MU getting boned otherwise with calls.
Have to make very free throw, no turnovers.
And another foul with two seconds on clock. Shooting foul of course
Game doesn't count, refs took us out early

No. Marquette is playing awful. Don't place blame elsewhere.
No, when the refs gave them 9 early on 3 miscalled charges and then a bulls mitt 3 point foul, it disrupts you a bit, aina?
Having players who can make shots from behind the 3-point line really helps.
Other than that, Butler has been extremely fortunate (lucky) on a number of occasions and a few calls have been definite head scratchers.
Cut it to three mid half.
Then floodgates opened. Numerous and one calls, turnovers, can't grab rebounds, missed free throws, stupid, stupid fouls, offensive boards again.
Wojo at one time went with Carter, Wilson, Cheatham, JJJ and Wally. Didn't work, but try anything.
Thought they play better, but oh well. This may be worst effort of year, Butler may score 100.
Rest the ankle Henry........good luck in play in game.
Maybe the biggest difference I see between this year and the Buzz's Sweet 16 teams is the attitude to finish the and-ones. We seem happy to have just drawn the foul near the basket and sort of throw one up there and then go to the line for two. I used to come to a lot of the games as soon as the doors opened and watch those teams get pounded by tackling dummies over and over and over again and the message was "I don't care if you are fouled - FINISH and then take your one free throw with two in the bank."
Is that a standard drill and do we still do it?
Where the did wilson learn how to not shoot fts?
This really sucks.

I agree those were huge momentum killers - but part of that is that we are freshman and if something goes wrong it kills us, whereas a more veteran team does the old, "that won't be the last bad call I ever get" and keeps fighting through and then gets a makeup call or break the other way and goes on a run.
I don't know if MU has just made the decision to stop getting JUCOs, but in today's game I do believe you always need one or two if you can't get a senior grad to help the youth along. If the freshman all take over during the season that is fine.
Not going to win many games when you let your opponent shoot 61%. Our defense is comical.

Refs took over for about 2-3 min when Marquette cut it to 3. The rest of the game has been fine.

OK, bad calls, yes, but stupid, stupid plays as well. Fisher in particular. WTF?
Sorry, but why did Cohen start second half, not JJJ? Defense????
Whoops Duane pulled in thirty seconds.
Henry having another gem.
This is abysmal. Another foul not called.

Henry having another gem.
But he is gassed. Missed like four of last five, two bad turnovers and cannot guard anyone right now.
This game is history, rest him and move on.
Did they just give Wojo a T?
Might as well take a t. Nothing else working.
No excuse for this cluster%=รท%.
Yup, finally started barking about the calls. Probably abit too late, but what's to lose.
Man, Sandy having another bad day. Believe that's 4 turnovers and 3 fouls.
Referees didn't cause the team to have 14 turnovers through 3/4 of the game.
Sandy has to start seriously thinking about a career move. He is a good kid but completely overmatched in this conference.
Down 26 with eight to go, foul trouble, need rest for next game, etc.....
Is there a reason Sacar has not seen the floor?

Unbelievable. Cohen is absolute garbage. Does nothing well.
Scariest thought is how bad this team is going to be next year without Henry. Wilson and JJJ may have peaked already, and while Cheatham may be better we will gave zero rebounding and will again play no defense.

This team will be better next season even without Henry. Assuming no other defections. Don't let one bad game color your opinion

About average, ai'na?
Awful game. One of the worst of the season, pretty much unwatchable. On to the BE tourney. What more needs to be said?

It's not one bad game. It is the freshmen except for Henry not learning a damn thing. They have no one who guard anyone one-on-one and without Henry next year Fischer will foul out in about 8 minutes every night. They simply cannot compete against the top 4 teams in this conference, and the gap is only to get worse.

Top 4 teams... Didn't we sweep #4 Providence this year?

Doesn't matter. How we do in one game at the end of the season has no bearing on how we will improve over the off-season

Look at any statistical analysis. We have been trending up all season. One game taking a step back does not mean all that progress didn't happen.

Xavier (0-2), Villanova (0-2), Buter and Seton Hall (0-2). Sorry if I incluided Butler ahead of Providence. Didn't know who had the tiebreaker.

Whatever. HE had 29 today. The guys that need to improve did not show up. Next years excuse will be the sophomore slump. No way is this team materially better if HE is gone unless Wojo lands a stud PF.

It's simple math.
Rowsey+Hauser+Howard (possible)+other recruit (possible)+improvement from the 9 returning scholarship players > Henry's production this season.
Henry is great. He is not greater than the 13 players that will be playing for us next season

Agreed. This team will be better next year even if Ellenson departs. What I really want to see next year is an improvement in coaching. I think Wojo and his staff need to do a better job on the X and O's next year. Too much of doing the same thing over and over and hoping for a different result.
