Fischer!  Great game overall, but the FTs clinched it.

Shoutouts to JJJ, damn he's the man.  And the Engine, for seeing Luke streaking.

Fischer hitting those free throws with his heart going 1,000mph

JJJ with 15 pts, 5 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 steals.

Team as a whole, could have collapsed after Henry's injury

LUKE.

They could have done a better job getting it in to him in the 2nd half. Part of the problem might have been HE going out.

But the FT's at the end iced it.

Luke. Career high and iced it at the line. Though I was impressed by both Henry and Traci tonight passing the ball. Hoping Hank is okay for the BET.

Think of how much Traci struggled to feed the post and turned those passes over early in Big East play. He's grown a ton this year.

I agree. Was so impressed how he didn't get on Haney after the late turnover. He knew he needed Haney to keep his head for the remainder. Great job all around.

Agree.  I might have swapped Traci for Luke as number 1, but one guy made both FTs at the end and the other guy only made 1.

Should and will be Luke.
The beard gives him his amazing powers.

Just a note on Traci's progress upon which others have commented.

I think one of the most telling things is that the last play was for him to take it coast to coast. Other guys might be licking their chops at that (or be scared of that) and have blinders on as a result. Shows a true point guard mentality to find Luke in that situation and drop that sweet dime.

What amazed me on the last MU play is Luke inbounding and then his speed down court for the attempt.

Luke didn't inbound.   He was standing near the top of the key.    JJ inbounded.    As soon as JJ passed the ball to Traci, Luke took off.

But he still sprinted that 60 feet and totally threatened the GTown defense forcing the foul.  Big Fish runs the floor as well as any center in college basketball.

Post by: tower912 on March 02, 2016, 07:40:08 PM
No argument.    There is still a 30 ft difference between inbounding the ball and racing down the floor and starting at the top of the key and racing down the floor.

Since you are SCUBAing (I assume) I won't pressure you on getting a new picture with Luke's beard.  It contributed at least 25% to his performance.

I thought the Mods had a blackout clause in their contract in regards to taking Scoop paid PTO during the hoops season?

Post your pix of some Belize Big Fishy and call it a SOTG day.  Cheers
