Who is your team? When picking out brackets, for everybody other than Marquette, I always ask the question...... 'Whose best game is the best?'
There is no 1 superteam this year. However, the team I have seen whose best game is the best I have seen this year is Sparty. I don't disagree with anybody touting X, OU, Nova, Iowa, Kansas. I know Iowa has owned MSU, but they have hit a flat spot. If MSU has everybody healthy, I like their chances.
UNC.
If Virginia were every to not choke.
This would probably be their year
Oklahoma. Heilds the kind of player that can put a team on his back and will them to a national championship
I'm kind of scared of nova getting a 1 seed. Cause they will be the team to finally lose to a 16.
Count me on the Sooner wagon too. Hield, Cousins, and Spangler have started something like 95 games together.

Nope
Oklahoma...Buddy is money and although KU will win that conference for the 12th or 13th straight year (which is unreal...I mean really unreal), I think Oklahoma has a better roster makeup and better chance to make a deep run.
A team I would throw some cash on in Vegas for a good price...Miami. They can be very impressive when they are hitting on all cylinders.

I hate it when I agree with you.
Outside of Hield and Valentine, I don't know if there is another guy who can put the team on his back and carry them to a title.
Looking at the Big East teams, I actually like Xavier more than Villanova, because Villanova doesn't have the size in the front court to tussle with some other teams they might face in later rounds. They should breeze past whatever shrimps they face in the first round, since the big upsets are usually from hot shooting and the Wildcats won't be outshot. But, a matchup with a bruising team in the round of 32 might knock them out.
Dayton
North Carolina.....Long, Lean, and Fast.
Kansas
Dark horse: Maryland
Could win it all or could get bounced by a 15: North Carolina
First #1 to Fall: Virginia
Final Four: Kansas, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Maryland
My pick: Kansas

Nova has actually been the one team to not slip up this year to this point.
21-0 against unranked teams or something like that
Kansas.
Not sleeping on Kentucky though.
The teams that I think have a shot to win it all in order of most to least likely:
UNC
MSU
Kansas
Xavier
Oklahoma
Kentucky
Duke
Iowa
Team that I don't think could win it all but I think could go to the Final Four but everyone is overlooking: Oregon
Belmont.
Wisconsin

Not after I saw them get beat by the 0-13 (now 2-13!) Golden Gophers.
I'm with Oklahoma, and I think their best game was actually their loss in triple OT to Kansas. But I see them getting hot at tourney time.
final 4 - UNC, MD, OK, KAN
Elite 8 - IOWA, IOWA STATE, DUKE, NOVA
but it depends on who gets in whose bracket. some could knock off others.
I also see one other ACC team doing well.
Look for Wisconsin getting to sweet-16 ....don't get me wrong, I don't like UW ... but their new coach is driven and they still have an unusual game that not everyone can counter when they play well.

I'm looking for Wisconsin to miss the Tournament.
UW is 17-10/9-5 and high RPI with a decent chance to go 2-2 (@IA,MI,@MN,@PU)...with 1 win in the BTT they are in.

I think they've got a real shot. Good size inside, numerous shooters, plenty of quality guards. Blueitt and Davis are a tough tandem. I think they have a legit shot out of our league.
Nationally, it's hard to look past North Carolina. Great size, senior leaders, no real head scratcher losses (maybe UNI but that was a long time ago). They'd probably be my pick if I filled out a bracket today.
I pretty sure it will not be Maryland. I made a bet on them in Vegas to win it all before the start of the season.
I will be rooting for Xavier, but I do not think they will make it past the Elite 8.
Michigan St has to be a final four team.
My prediction would be Kansas.
Teams win tournament games with NBA players. I could see Dunn and Bentil going off for 50+ points three or four games in a row.
Then, MU should make a deep run, hey?

Agreed. They won't leave out an 11 win team from the B1G.

This would pretty much be my list, including Oregon. I like them alot. Altman is really good.
I don't think Nova should be excluded from the list because of the last two years, either. March failures can be corrected. Marquette went 5 years in a row from 2005-2010 losing on the first weekend, then went S16, S16, Elite 8.
