Will be close to a packed house for #1 at home, regardless of whether they lose Wednesday to X this is storm worthy in my book. It's been years since we had a good storm at the BC, at least 10 if memory serves me. Cincy in 03?

I generally think storming is overdone...but we've been down for a couple years and Nova is a legit #1.

This would be a perfect week...we beat creighton, nova beats xavier, we beat nova. Not only would we win against an undisputed #1 ...we would be 8-8 and hope would be there for the tourney.

I think we go 0-2 this week but I do think that we will give Nova a run on Saturday.

Wisconsin was #2 last year when they beat us at the BC.
Not sure we have played a #1 since then...?
*Side note,Wisconsin will always be a #2 in my book...

Wardle scored a bunch in the first half against Cincy. You might be thinking of the game against DePaul. Had all 19 of MU's first half points.

That was the DePaul game when they had Quinton Richardson. I was at that one.

Cinci jumped to a 23-2 lead with MU making 1 of their first 14 shots. MU trailed 39-12 at half.
Wardle scores 24 in the second half to bring the final margin down to 12.

Memory so hazy, but wasn't it '02 when Cinci was #4 and we were unranked? I do still remember my conversation with the usher.

I remember being SO excited for that game as a student. The cheerleaders handed out confetti to throw when MU made their first FG and the students were ready and into it. Unfortunately, the confetti-toss lost some of its effect when MU finally scored to cut the score to 20-2.

Students stormed the court upon beating #4 Cincy in '02 but, IIRC, there was also a court-storming in '03 when beating Cincy to clinch the ConfUSA title.

Goods news is that it takes less rope to rapel to center court from there. ;D
