Thank you for posting. Our fans should watch all 6 minutes of it
That's pretty unfortunate that our players came out of a timeout at the end of the game and didn't even attempt to run the play that was drawn up. That just reeks of immaturity.
Pretty blunt. I'd bench the most significant culprit in failing to run the play out of the TO.
You have to coach h to win. Players have to play to win. We should have won that game. The coach and players failed period.
You can feel his pain. He is absolutely right that the team should now enough at this point to do something smart coming out of a timeout, but part of this is on him for not having a Plan B if Creighton switched defenses. He should have seen that if the first three seconds after the timeout and called something different. We are in a perfect storm of losing here: both team and coach have times when they have no idea what to do. If we are still like this next year I will be really worried.

agree maybe the players called an audible once they saw man was being played and that is why they did not run the play drawn up for a zone.
At some point, two things have to happen. First, the guys have to do what's drawn up. Period.
Second, coach needs to anticipate a defensive change and have a Plan "B".
Yikes on both accounts. This is why this year is SO MADDENING!!!!!!!!! This is why the best thing about this winter is el Nino!
JJ wasn't playing as well as those in the game. Translation: Not getting back on defense.
Didn't even try to run the play: Translation: That is why Haanif sees so many minutes at the point instead of Traci.
Thanks for posting. I like how Wojo handles these pressers. He certainly seems like the right guy. Hope the talent catches up.
Thanks for the post. Still will take Wojo at this pt., lots to learn on all fronts, but believe he can make MU relevant post-season once again.
Wojo 's the right guy. I think he probably thought we were going to have a much better year. Just guessing. Lots of challenges this year for all concerned. Learning experience for all - including us fans.
Finally got the chance to watch this. Very pointed comments by Wojo, you could feel the anguish. Thanks for posting it.

Even that is proving to be an equally huge letdown.

Not to the guy who got 6 rounds of golf in in December in Michigan.

We're still waiting for it here in So. Cal. All the experts said what a wet winter we would have. What a monumental disappointment thus far in that area. Nor Cal got some, but not down here.
Did not like critical and blaming tone of the press conference. What about talking up the things done well which got them into a position to win? That blaming should be with the guys..not the press. I prefer the Jason Kidd approach which is truthful but more positive. Players have to know the coach has your back. Candor with the press is important as well. You have to balance those two conflicting things somehow. Not easy to do, I know.
