Seriously, what is with the strategy of passing inside then bailing on the bigs? I've seen it all season, but numerous times tonight the guards would inbound to Henry and Luke and as soon as the ball went in, they would clear to the opposite side of the court, leaving the big double or triple teamed on an island. Just makes no sense to me to leave your big men without an outlet pass while dealing with multiple defenders.
Duke iso I
The big is supposed to look for the skip pass to that player. They'll be wide open.
Our bigs are not looking to make those passes.

The problem is where they go is impossible to pass to. Maybe the players don't yet know where to go, but it seems everyone goes 180 degrees behind the big they just passed to.
Team needs a coach to coach da bigs on da staff. Majerus did that under Al. Too many former guards sittin' on da pines, hey?

Wojo was the big man coach at Duke, I believe.

And Team USA
I wish that I did not just read that, oh boy.
Henry makes too many freshman mistakes at times. He is very talented, but, also very green. He needs discipline and good coaching.
Who's the big man coach?
Wojo - 5'11
Carrawell - 6'6
Stan - 6'2
Nelson - 6'4
Height doesn't mean much, but we have an entire staff of recent former players. Sure would like a true big man coach, not that I want any of our coaches to get replaced.

Not only to they clear out, there's no action on the weak side. Everyone stands around.

I believe Majerus was wider than he was tall, and he was regarded as an outstanding coach of big men. Pete Newell, probably the most famous big men coach ever, wasn't exactly Wilt tall.

Thanks MU82. Always a pleasure.
Does anyone know who the big man coach is? I'm just curious
