Title: OT: Marquette Christmas Ornaments
Post by: mu_eyeballs on December 14, 2007, 10:33:14 AM
So the other day the wife and I are setting up the tree...and she being the good ND grad that she is starts putting up 4-5 really nice ND ornaments.  Then we bring out a few OSU ornaments(yes you do have to go to grad school somewhere), and about then I am getting a little pissed that I don't have any good MU Christmas stuff.  So I hope on-line and google Marquette Ornament and get a pretty weak selection of stuff including the 3 "blown glass" balls at the MU spirit shop and two sad looking ones with the old logo on them.

In any case I was wondering if any of you guys had some inside track to any good quality MU Christmas stuff...so I can fight back against the ND Santa's that I have all over my house(yes there are three of them...wishing for a victory over USC ::) )

Instead of bobbleheads, they should give out Warrior Christmas ornaments.

Who wouldn't hang an Al McGuire Christmas ornament on their tree? Or George Thompson? Or McIlvaine?

This is a no-brainer!

Here .. hang this on the tree.  I couldn't find an ornament to customize, so I went with this instead:

http://www.zazzle.com/cr/design/pt-mug?dz=3e4debd9-af65-47f9-83ca-698c492fac06&clone=true&pending=true&view=outside&CMPN=EmailDesign (http://www.zazzle.com/cr/design/pt-mug?dz=3e4debd9-af65-47f9-83ca-698c492fac06&clone=true&pending=true&view=outside&CMPN=EmailDesign)

Looks like their website is a bit slow right now .. probably xmas rush.

Hmmm, I just "custom" designed these online.  Looks like I'd have to order 100 at a time, and they'd be about 2.75 each.

Maybe we can plan ahead and put together a group order next year :)

I'd totally be down for those next year.
