Damn, you all see this yet?  Second-leading scorer in a little hot water...

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -- A former and a current Georgetown College basketball player are facing charges after being arrested outside a Lexington bar.

Police say officers were called to the bar early Thursday and found about 100 people outside with at least two men fighting.

Lexington police Lt. Dwayne Holman says a Taser was used on former player James Thompkins, who refused to leave, then struggled with an officer. Thompkins was charged with criminal mischief, resisting arrest and failure to disperse.

Current player Demetrius Guions was arrested and charged with failure to disperse. Guions is a junior guard and second-leading scorer for Georgetown.

Avenue Commons got a failure to disperse charge once. No big deal. Just a misdemeanor fine. Doesn't mean much more than a traffic ticket.

If Fields didn't miss any time I doubt Guions will.

More heckling ammo for their visit, though, which is always a good thing.

I don't think that's the Hoyas... Georgetown College.  There isn't a Guions on the Hoyas.  Too bad though, wouldn't hurt for the hoyas to lose their second leading scorer

Ooops, I guess this all was just wishful thinking on my part.

Funny, I think CNN-SI just realized the mistake and changed the title of the article from "Hoyas player arrested" to "Georgetown College Players Arrested" 2 min ago.

Besides the DC police wouldn't be nice enough to tase someone refusing to dispurse...bash your head in first, then tase maybe.

Ill never forget the recruiting pamphlet I received in the mail from Georgetown College when I was a high school junior.

It was a guy and girl sitting across from each other in a diner sipping on a milkshake with two straws.

While that scene may have been appealing to the Kool Aid drinkers on the other board, it didnt do much for me.
