Title: BYU Next Year?

For the same $80,000 can we get them to come to MKE? Sure would beat Stetson or Chicago St.

For a school that will kick you off the team for having sexual relations, a one game suspension for punching an opponent seems a little light.

BYU motto: "Make war, not love."

I assume you're referring to Utah coming to Milwaukee?  Because BYU is just going to take that $80k and buy a game with Long Beach State (or similar).

For Utah, I'm sure they'll be much better off paying the $80k guarantee to BYU and another $80k to an LBSU for an extra home game next season.  Best we could hope for with Utah is a home-and-home.

I used to work for the universty of Utah. BYU hatred runs deep there. Makes our feelings about the vadgers seem like a hippie love fest. It's sad to see this happen. College sports need rivalries like this. I also don't think it will cool off anything. TAMU hadnt played the longwhores, for years and the anticipation for the game in the Bahamas was electric. It increased the rivalry

Fair enough, I was more suggesting that each of those schools is now looking to fill a date on their calendar.

Hatred in the valley runs pretty deep.  It's that isolation from the entire rest of the world.  Somewhere around Sandy they've dug trenches and still use mustard gas against each other.  BTW, the BYU campus is gorgeous.  The Wasatch explode thousands of feet skyward seemingly just beyond the east football grandstand.  Utah, siting on a nice gentle hillside on the east side of SLC, is also quite nice.

The $80,000 is part of a home and home. BYU or Utah would not do a buy game for $80.000.

I would love to play Utah home and home.  Good team.

No way!  The Centenary Gentlemen are the team to play!

If he suited up today at age 62, ex-Gentleman Robert "Chief" Parish would still be their best player!

Ski Alta. Stay in Park City.

Avoid SLC at all costs.

I think it is kind of embarrassing for these teams to cancel their rivalry. That said I would be happy to do a home and home with either team. I think we can beat them. Then extend it another two years , when we get Beetle Bailey on the team.

Park city is gorgeous. But I loved living in slc. Possibly favorite place I've ever lived. Clean, gorgeous views, genuinely nice people, and a surprising amount to do.
