Not sure if this got some exposure in 2014 but...

Which includes Marquette and that's why we have these cards today:

Nice to see our guys get some worldwide exposure in this changing hobby landscape, this time with the Marquette name emblazoned across their chests.
Expect more, especially if Big Bad Hank makes the L.

Do you get them with your sandwich?

Nobody wants dried-out gum with their card collectibles anymore, apparently. Can't say that I blame them.
However, some here may recall pestering your parents to buy Gardner's bread back in the 80's simply for the single Brewers baseball card that was inside the plastic bag... so although it would appear
non sequitur, it's actually quite intuitive.

Naw, you got them from the police. One of our favorite things to do when we were drunk walking down Wisconsin Ave was to flag down a cop and ask them for baseball cards. Some were amused; some weren't.

Yeah, it's a funny name for a company that's been around for awhile. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panini_Group)
They are an Italian based company that first started sticker albums (you may remember them) based on cartoons and movies and eventually made the foray into soccer.
They've always had a global presence but solidified it in the sports trading cardworld with the acquisition of Donruss a couple of years back.
Here are some vintage Panini sticker albums from back in the day:

They're still in the sticker album business. The World Cup editions are one of their best sellers.
