Title: Looks like Diamond Stone is settling in
Post by: ChicosBailBonds on December 30, 2015, 07:31:53 PM
39 points today in his first ACC conference game.  Can't think of many or any freshmen that had a game like that in a league like that.

Good for him.

Didn't know he transferred.  Thought he played in the BIGwhatever's.

You are right.  Old habits die hard.

Penn State joined the ACC? Man, this conference musical chairs is crazy.

Not sure what stands out more, Stone's game, or Maryland needing to overcome a double digit second half deficit to Penn freaking State.

For all those who have been pointing out how much better HE has been than Diamond Stone, last night Diamond put up 39 points and 12 boards breaking the Maryland record for most points by a freshman.  Got to believe he'll be one and done.

39 points on 15 shots. He hit 19 FTs. That's insane.

Previous highs of 16 points and 9 boards. Not much of a rebounder for his size but he had 8 o-rebs last night.

Good for him.
