No comments after his game last night versus Milwaukee Washington?
Shouldn't he be dominating kids half his age?
I believe Milw.Washington has Lucas that is going to Illinois.
Didn't see the game. How was his defense?
He's waaaaayyyy too old. ::)
Let me know the next time he shuts down a D1 prospect and I might start worrying about why we haven't offered the kid yet.
Until then, the Globetrotters should recruit him.

No amount of "reclassifying" is going to make him grow 4-5".
I believe he's a 17yo soph. At age 17, I was a freshman at MU.
....and yet he is still picking up those D1 offers.
I wonder if those schools who have interest know how tall he is.
Are you sure he wasn't guarding the player going to Illinois? He ended the game with 5 points

That's why I'm asking. If he shut down Te'Jon Lucas, it would be impressive. From the MJS article, it sounds like Kaukauna used a 1-3-1 zone. That's a good way to hide defensive deficiencies.
Before you guys knock a small player, MU's best player next year might be Howsey and how tall is he, 5'9", and why is Monmouth so good, there best player is
5'7" maybe, and maybe one more, went to Shorewood for the old timers, John Rinka, averaged maybe 45 points in college with no 3 point line. Even Al stated one
of his biggest mistakes was not taking him, killed Dean the Dream playing him one on one. Lights out shooter, as good as Novak.

I think most people's issue with McCabe is more that he doesn't play defense and has spent most of his career playing against kids 3 years younger than him.

If Rowsey is MU's best player next year we'll be worse than Monmouth.
Jordan and Tyler are visiting Xavier next month together, and apparently want both, too many schools interested and offering not to think there is very good talent there, every kid has faults coming in to college,up to coaching staffs to make them better.

No way Rowsey is MU's best player next season, Rinka played nearly 40 years ago and Monmouth is 9-4 with losses to Army and Canisius (the 5'7" guy on the end of then bench is entertaining though).

Travis Diener
Bailey will be older also, after he does his mission
But the people Bailey are playing against now are his age.
Did not see him play last night but have seen him several times. The kid is a talent and has done well at every level he has played on. Is he older than almost every sophomore yes, is he physically mature for his age yes. Bottom line the kid can play and run an offense
Lucas was in foul trouble the whole game

You're going to be surprised.
He's going to be good. But "best player?"

He's going to be a secondary ball-handler and spot-up shooter.

Depends if Henry stays or not, will be the best guard on the team next year. Without Henry, who is better outside. Cheatham looks to drive all the time with no right
hand, all left, Duane is to inconsistent scorer, hope I am wrong there, and Carter, not close. Not sue if Rowsey can play the point or not, if so he takes Carters place
in second, gets 30 minutes if he can. He can shoot the ball that is for sure, averaged 19 at Asheville, 35 against Wake, time off to get acclimated, coaching staff has to
help with the year off, I will not be surprised if he is the leading scorer next year if Henry is not back.

It is pretty clear that some high major will give him a shot, but no one knows how McCabe will do in college until he gets there.
Until then all anyone can do is go on record with their prediction. Mine is that he will disappoint.
No wojo either night McCabe played @ Concorida last two nights. Is that a sign?

There isn't much to suggest that Wojo is interested.

Gotcha. Wasn't sure. Have noticed some lists with Mu & some without regarding McCabe. Thanks

totally disagree with the bolded. Cheatham goes right more often than he goes left. He usually catches the ball in the right corner and drives baseline, always dribbing with his right hand. Now, he almost always finished with his left, but he's very good with both hands off the dribble.
I think if anybody would have been there it would have been coach Nelson

I hate to say this but his game reminds of mine, he can dribble with both hands but does not finish ever with his right hand, much like Billy Cunningham, I always felt
I had an advantage being lefty but never worked on my right hand, if he could do that watch out, he would be unstoppable driving to the hoop. As a coach, I would
be working on that all the time with him.
Anyone know if somebody from MU got the chance to sneak over to Concordia post game for Joey Hauser? I see Wisky is there
I heard he's a Wisconsin lean right now,but our best weapon is his brother playing here.Pretty sure he isn't leaving the state.

crap
There's a lot of time before any of these kids make their decision. Who knows who'll be coaching in Madison. He knows Wojo will be here.
