Did they have a full house?  Will we see a polar plunge in Lake Michigan?

Pffft. Big freakin' deal. Both of my kids did the Polar Plunge last year, and they didn't need an artificial incentive.

Maybe not artificial but it looks like Glow was there to cheer on his progeny down at Bradford Beach. A father's love and support is a wonderful thing.

I haven't seen any women's basketball this year....had no idea they went to 4 quarters instead of two halves.

For some reason I was looking at the UConn vs Notre Dame women's box score yesterday in the paper and my first thought was they went to double overtime until I saw what was the 3rd quarter score and thought if that's the case then the first OT score should be a tie?

Same here.  I was at a bowling alley Saturday and one of the TVs had UConn-ND on.  The scoreboard said "3rd."  I was quite confused.  Tried to remind myself to check again at the start of the 4th to see how long each quarter was, but I forgot.

That makes men's college basketball the only level with halves right? HS, women, and NBA are all quarters.  What about Euro?

Euro does quarters. I think men's college ball will eventually follow suit.

Four 10-minute quarters:

http://www.ncaa.com/news/basketball-women/article/2015-06-08/ncaa-womens-basketball-adopts-new-rules-including-four-10

I actually like a few of the women's rules. Not sure I see quarters coming to the men's game however. The halves allow for breaks every 4 minutes, but quarters wouldn't be quite that clean. If they went to every 5 minutes, they'd lose a break per half. If they kept it at 4, you'd get the odd situation where at some point, the under 2-timeout bled into the between quarter break, go to 3 and it's just too many breaks per half. My guess is that due to the golden goose nature of the NCAA getting virtually all their revenue from men's basketball, you'll see the half system stay in place because it makes the most commercial sense (figuratively and literally).

I really like the women's rule to not reset the backcourt clock to 10 in certain circumstances, and also would be okay with the halfcourt advancement rule on timeouts. Would love to see them adopt those in the men's game as well.

Do PA for an NAIA school. They've also gone to 5 fouls a quarter, shoot double bonus on the 5th foul. Didn't think going in I'd like the changes, but it helped a bunch having the end of both halves not turning into a march to the foul line. Time out rules significantly different from the men, too. One other minor change there, too, not sure if it's the case NC2A D1 men or women. No longer announce the names of the officials. Don't like that change.

That edit is just lame. Defacing one of the most classic photos in all of sports history.

They are the sort who would paint bras and panties on a Titian oil.
