Henry and Luke looked great. I say give it to Traci for all around play.
Luke/Henry had no one defending them, like a high school game.
Traci Carter 10 points, 7 assists, 7 rebounds, 4 steals, one turnover
I almost want to agree... But I'm going to go with Henry. 2/3 from 3, 23 points, had a streak with 9 straight points. Would have had a ton more had he played more than 30 min or so.
Henry.
You could easily give it to Luke, Henry, Traci or Haanif.
I'll go with Luke, but could see any of them getting it.
Cam with his first points. Getting the Rob Frozena STOG
Luke. He dunks good!
Traci or Luke. I took out Herny for poor defense (outside of the blocks) and three turnovers. But if his stat line could get him third place for SOTG, we are doing pretty damn well.
Traci's the Man the bigs had nobody on their level.
Traci
Was a true stud today

I agree, this is the hardest one. I say "the engine," he would easily have had a triple double if they played him the full game. When was the last time a MU player had a triple double?
Carter
The "Engine" makes them go.
Traci......he set the tone early. Was all over the court.
Luke.
Traci
Traci.
Carter.
Luke and Henry had such mis-matches it is hard to judge their performance.
I appears that MU is about to have its sixth different SOTG in as many games. I like a lot. Kill 'em from anywhere and everywhere.
I think that's its time for keefe to come up with a MU motto. Something like "100% and then some" would be nice. What was that ground air targeting group's motto?
Luke.
But great games from Traci and Henry as well.
Carter
Traci
22 mins... Traci Carter 10 points, 7 assists, 7 rebounds, 4 steals, one turnover
Get the pic up !!!
As easy as either Luke (4 blocks to go along with the 21/7) or Henry would be, I have to say Carter. What set him apart today for me was his rebounding. Amazed how often he came out with the ball on defensive stands. And while Luke and Henry didn't play big minutes, neither did Carter who only logged 22. Great all-around game. Had he played even 30 minutes he probably would have had a triple-double.
My vote is for Henry while we have him. Will be time to vote for the other guys next year.
Mack Truck. The Engine was at a 185 Orating and much improved on defense (4 steals). I just want to note Sandy's 8 assists as well.
Engine's stat line is impressive given his limited minutes. I'm in agreement that Luke was covered by nobody. He certainly took advantage but because of that.......
I'd vote Dawson if I could, but he was done in by the mind games. So, what the heck, Traci seems OK.
Just noticed that in the first four MU games, Tra Carter's assist-to-turnover ratio was 1.78.
In the last four games, it was 5.4.
IMHO, he is the catalyst for the team improvement we've been seeing. The generator of this resurgence; the mechanism that drives the Marquette basketball machinery.
We should really think about giving him a nickname.

If there was only a word that could possibly encapsulate this concept of him being this piece of equipment that converts energy into motion for the rest of the team.
Oh well. Guess he will be forever nickname-less.
Excellente, senors!! +Ocho!

How about, "The Accelerator"?

Somebody has to bend Jakubowski's ear. He needs to announce the nickname during intros.
I'm diggin' that we've won 6 games and have 6 different SOTGs. Here's my prediction: Wally, Sacar and Matt share SOTG for the San Jose St. game, and then Michael and Cam share it against UW.

Have we ever allowed people to share the SOTG?

I believe so. And, if not, then that becomes part of my bold prediction.
I think Frozena got a Honorary SotG. Hopefully he doesn't Cosby, and Scoop has to rescind the honor.

That would make sense. I just checked the wiki and in every year except 2010-2011, the SOTG numbers match the total wins. That was the year Frozena got one, so it may be the honorary SotG.
