Well that sucks. End to a great era.

Absolutely shocking news. I never imagined Scott Weiland would die at the age of 48. Incredible that he lived that long.
Seriously, though, loved listening to STP growing up. His struggles with drugs were well documented. He will be missed. Was supposed to play Milwaukee at Turner Ballroom on Sunday.
:( RIP. Always been a big fan. Got to see STP once, and it was one of the best concerts I've ever seen. Unfortunate that the drug issues always plagued his career and life.
Big fan, but not shocked at all.
I'm a big fan....quintessential rock and roll front man - really poured all the inner turmoil through his gift.
Not surprising in the least but a shame non the less.
When i saw STP i was super pissed they were 50 minutes late but it was totally forgiven 5 minutes into the show. The most rock and roll thing about STP is how they got their name.
I saw STP 3 or 4 times. They came on a couple of hours late once but each time they put on an amazing show. The first time I saw them they opened for RHCP and just blew them off the stage.
Weiland was a true rock star and his talent was undeniable. RIP.
