I'm sure you love the gold sweater vests.
I really like the Marquette thong...I think I just found my Christmas present for my girlfriend. ;D

You want tacky? Go buy something at the Marquette Union with our current nickname or logo on it.
Now THAT'S tacky!!
I am sure the Jesus does not care about sports at all. Otherwise Notre Dame football would not be so pathetic.

Word. Applaud the initiative of the entrepreneurs. I had a decent merchandising
scheme business when I was at MU. But I'm hesitant to buy one particularly because of the "Touchdown Jesus" aspect to it.

Uh, good luck with that. Wolski's also sell's women's underwear. Perhaps you can get her a complete set!
I'm surprised at one of those cafepress stores with the gold circle/warrior head logo. I guess Cafepress doesn't check for copyright. (Mwahahaha.)

I did a quick online search to see if "Marquette Warriors" or "Warriors" was trademarked by Marquette (law school finally making itself useful!). Turns out that MU doesn't have the trademark to Marquette Warriors. In fact, the trademark was held by someone else and is dead. This is just a basic search, so it may not be completely up to date, just thought it was interesting. Seems like you can slap Warriors on anything you want to and not worry about the university coming after you.

And yep, the trademark for Marquette Gold is also dead too.

Was this the person that held the Marquette Gold Trademark?
