Early season, OOC, signature win for MU.
Or not.

But... but... Ben Simmons.
Go Arizona St!

Maybe Simmons really IS like a young LeBron. He puts up ridiculous numbers that somehow don't lead to victories.
No worries. All will be cool after the Fighting Ben Simmons' bounce back and beat Kentucky and Vanderbilt. :-\
This is classic MUBB luck. They beat a ranked team, which then goes on to lose miserably. So annoying.

Was LSU ranked or was Ben Simmons ranked?

Luck? Or they beat a team that isn't good?

Reminds me of when we beat #15 Michigan in the Old Spice Classic in 2009. I think they finished below .500 that year

Imagine how Western Illinos is feeling about their Bucky win right now. From #17 to also receiving votes to off the radar in 2 weeks. :D
Wait, a very young team had a bad early season loss? You must be kidding me.
Let's see... a badly coached team with no definitive offensive or defensive strategy loses to a lower level team.
I'm not surprised...
LSU just plays pickup ball.
Sounds like Pistol Pete Maravich.
Great Player
Crap team
Should have come to Marquette.

Ooooooorrrrrrr, MU is so f-ing awesome that they won't only beat you, they'll start a downward spiral that will destroy your season.
preseason rankings don't mean dink

You may be on to something here. Since losing to Marquette, IUPUI, LSU, ASU, and Jackson State are a combined 1-8 against D1 competition.
Best (only) win, ASU escaping against UC-Santa Barbara by finishing the game with a 7-0 run over the last 65 seconds to win 70-68 at home.

And Bucky plays at Duke tonight. Looks like 4,4 will be their record after that game.

Uh no. I'll be @ Cameron tonight for the game. Should be interesting to see how Crean and his squad handle the raucous environment.

Someone better tell IU, because they plan on playing at Duke tonight also

I bet Wisconsin + Indiana can beat Duke. The Blue Devils might be the reigning championships and playing at home but that is just too much. 8-)

Depends, if they can only play 5 at a time, would adding Hayes to rotation (does he start over Williams?) and Koenig off the bench (no way he plays over Yogi) really put IU over the top at Cameron, because I'm not sure anyone else on their roster gets minutes on IU.

Crean commanded his assistants to go to every convenient and grocery store in Durham to load up on DPs for this tilt.
119-108 vs north Florida? Wtf
That said, 43-14-7 from Simmons lol

76-51 Duke with 9 minutes left. Guess IU cancelled their plans to show up.

North Florida's not terrible, they did beat Illinois and had a lead on Louisville late in the first half. Also went to the NCAA Tournament last year.
Let's not overlook ASU's nice win at Creighton last night.

Why would we overlook that? That result isn't as good for MU had Creighton won.

I meant it as a positive. An early post was questioning ASU's talent given their come-from-behind W over UCSB.

Given the circumstance, I'll take the ASU win. Anything to boost the non-con resume and at the end of the day, we probably need to look better than at least four other Big East teams to get in. But I fully understand your point ;)
How crazy would it be if two of the best freshman in ellenson and Simmons are playing in March? As im more of a NBA guy, my interest will go way down.
