I'm taking my three little kids to tomorrow's game (without my wife). In an admittedly lazy move, I'm trying to park as close as possible to the Bradley Center. Will that really cost me $26?
Several surface lots around BC that are less than that. Sometimes the price even drops closer to gametime.
I believe there is a lot across Third Street from Buck Bradley's that is typically $10 for the non-com games. If you have time, drive around the block and compare prices.

How close?
I've found street parking within 3 blocks at all 4 home games this year. Usually around 3rd and Kilbourn or 4th and Michigan.
There is also a lot across from George Webb's on 3rd street, just north of Wisconsin ave that would cost about 8 dollars.
As far as anything closer? Not sure.

That's where we usually park. Strangely, it's not the three-year old, but his six-year old sister who makes that a long walk. I'm sure I'll just end of there again. Thanks.
There is also a nice little lot on 4th, just north of McKinley and across the street from the old hardware store. Typically $5 for non-con. That's about 3 blocks north of the NE entrance.
All that said, chick and I always street park. The exercise is good for me.
Alternately, you could park somewhere like Miss Katie's and take the shuttle. Free for customers.
Don't tell anyone, but .. my free street parking spot is on 6th, north of Fond du Lac to Vliet, or 7th. It's about 3 blocks, maybe 6 minutes walk.
This is why I didn't want a new stadium built. Gonna eff up my parking zone.
Last year the surface lot right behavior be the bc was $20
$15 at the Bradley Center proper. Cannot get closer. For a couple of bucks more than the surface lots, well, depending on the weather or other issues, I don't see how the extra couple of bucks is that big of a deal.
