I may have missed this - but does anyone know what the hell are players are made to wear during the last couple of practices? Hoping it's some sort of harness that measures/enhances performance/recovery?

During the Italy trip they mentioned they track all activity and then the data on the device is downloaded so they can do a bunch of analytics. I know it is more technical than that but that is my layman answer.
Can they put a shirt over it at least? Cripes. Looks like bras.
Back at the AL. Still wearing white t shirts though.
Manziers.
Duane Wilson looks like something out of a Jane Fonda workout video. All he needs is a head band and leg warmers to complete the look.

You can tell they hate those shorts. Nothing worse than practicing in bad shorts. No joke.

Based on conversation at the Al, they can track fatigue, blood oxygen, and therefore prevent injury or reduce the probability. Might be related to fewer boots around town.
They did a segment on it on the latest "inside Marquette basketball" with Dennis Krause on ch 1332 locally. It is quite unbelievable that they can track and download realtime data during the game of # of steps each player took, % relative to their max effort, etc.
TAMU uses those. Amazing the data you can collect these days. But they do look pretty....oddd

That's a separate system from these, though. They're not allowed to wear these during games. Game data is based on a camera system, can't do the stuff like track heart rate that these harnesses can.

I saw this on Twitter and was going to say after the white shirts worked Wojo started to make the team wear sports bras as the next motivational tool.
They are wearables for performance data.
I think you're seeing the "bras" because it's shirts vs. skins. I'm worried about the black thing Duane is wearing lower down - what the heck is THAT measuring? If it's what I think then I hope they are outlawed for old guys!

He's just pulling his shorts up.

That is an experimental uni Jumpman is testing out. Codpieces and compression jammers instead of the traditional shorts.
