I have a goofy memory for some stuff, what can I say.
I did not expect a NCAA bid, but I DID expect to be more competitive than the crap that's currently masquerading for coaching and playing.
We start 5 top 100s
2 3rd year Top 60
1 3rd year Top 90
1 1st year Top 100
1 1st year Top 10
You should be able to cobble together a defense. I may have overestimated our ability to win but showing up and playing D are non negotiable.
They will learn, or if they don't they will be gone. Simple as that. You guys are all sports fans, the landscape is littered with teams that have played terrible only to turn it around later in a season. Of course, there are also those that have played terrible and can never get it straightened out.
Looking forward to the second half to see how they respond.

Reminds me of Buzz's last year......guy's ratings don't mean a whole lot to me.

Then we shouldn't annoint based on recruiting classes. I guess your 5 year rule holds. Just hope we're at 2 Sweet 16s & an Elite 8 after 5.
I'm a very optimistic fan and I like Wojo, but I'm bummed out. Little things are missing.

To be clear, I said 4 to 5 years. People keep saying 5, but I did say 4 to 5.
And yes, I concur completely that recruiting classes are great for pub and alumni, but that's it. Talent is great, but if talent doesn't play smart or hard, doesn't mean a bunch. Plus, some talent is overrated because of the competition they go up against, etc.

The difference between High School and College is huge. Right now we have only a handful of players that can compete at the High D 1 level.
