Bet on experience. Give the points.
Only 3 points? Hope vegas knows something I don't.

I agree. Iowa looks scary since that exhibition loss. Do they really start 5 seniors? Heard that somewhere
I bet a co-worker who went to Iowa that if MU loses, I have to wear an Iowa shirt Friday at work and vice versa.
I made this bet before the season started......
He's got about 50 lbs on me, so that should be interesting.

More so if MU wins. hahahaha
We were 13.5 point favorites the last game and MU was only 1-7 against the spread in the previous 8 games. The last game made it 1-8 and I expect this one to make it 1-9. However, there is always hope. Maybe Ellenson will start hitting 5-10 ft shots scoring 30 points and leading us to victory.
Home court is worth 3-4 points. I'm not sure we are 6-7 points worse than Iowa on a neutral floor. I also don't think we shoot 20% from three all season. I'll take the points.

True. This seems like one of those typical Vegas trap bets. A MU team that just lost to Belmont at home and went into overtime with IUPUI. Feels lime there is gonna be a lot of action towards the Iowa side. Vegas knows that they're doing for the most part.
Iowa is an experienced team that shoots the ball well. Better than the experienced team that shoots the ball well who we lost to last week. The only good news that I see is that Fran McCaffrey can sometimes make odd coaching decisions. (I swear sometimes I think that guy can really coach. Other times...well...)

I agree, the book always tries to balance the book and profits from the action.....
I still feel ashamed that we took book at the Vogue, across the street from the library, back in the day, back when the line came from Chicago, and the book always knew what it was doing, we didn't.
At court the old (85ish) Polish owner from Cicero, from back in the speak easy days said, "I don't gamble, I don't smoke, I don't drink, I don't go out with strange women and I don't chew gum"....the judge said, "case dismissed".
Took Iowa -2. First time I ever bet against marquette when they were underdogs. Knowing my luck Iowa will win by 1.
I just can't see any way we cover. Hope the boys make me look dumb, but I think we're looking at a 7-12 point loss.
So MUScoop is telling me to bet my house on Iowa. I've capped it at 5k.
Well, easiest money I'll make all year.
I got in at -2. Told a friend to bet the house but he didn't get his bet in until late and it was -4. Looks like it didn't matter.
