I know he's making BIG money now, but I read about the ways he spends his money, and his entourage that he pays for, and I worry that in 10/15 years we'll be reading a rags-to-riches-to-rags story.

You mean like paying his buddy $5K to drink a bunch of syrup?
Jigs or spinners?

Yeah - though if you go by % of his (current) annual salary that $5k is equivalent to a guy making $100k betting someone $32. But, hopefully he's got a good money manager stocking away some of his salary.

If not, I formally offer my services.
PM me, Jimmy.

Except the guy earning $100K has the expectation of earning that much or more until his 60s. Every broke 40 year-old former athlete you read about has stories like this in his past. Hopefully Jimmy is being careful with enough of his money that he will always be comfortable.

Not really. Countless examples of former NBA players who blew through their career earnings.

I'm just glad that if the game is not going well tonight I can flip it over to Tanked and be proud of my man JFB. I do hope he has a financial advisor though.

Hopefully he's not using Lenny Dykstra's financial advisor.

Vin Baker and Antoine Walker are two examples that immediately come to mind.
