Thank God our loss to Stanford didn't hurt us.
What unfair expectations to our young and impressionable team.
Iowa also in the last four in.
Cuse and OSU the first two out.
And we are excited about this why?
Little early for that prediction, but it is better than not getting in. Of course, many of us think we will get in a lot sooner than last. Then again, many of us are dreamers when it comes to MU Bball.
As always, Bracketology is plus or minus complete irrelevance.

Well, it did impact our seeding....

Finally have basketball-related things to post about and so excitement about anything is warranted?
Iowa and LSU games will be a pretty good indicator.
Chick and I are already looking at our Dayton roadtrip plans!! 8-)

Agree to an extent.
If we play well in those games (plus Belmont), I think we will have a great shot at making the Dance.
But if we don't, I still won't get on the ledge. This is a very young team, so it's quite possible that we could be mediocre in November and December, then improve significantly down the stretch.

Lunardi (at least at the end of the season) tends to be pretty accurate. A major sportswriter predicting us to dance in March is a good sign that nationally we are viewed as a potentially competitive team.

Don't kid yourself. Dayton will be unnecessary as I do not expect we will have a play-in game.
Unless, of course, you want to see exciting and provocative Dayton. The home of Radio Newsman and Hog Chronicler Les Nessman.

Les was OK, but Johnny Fever was the man.

C'mon man! Les was from Dayton, Dr. Johnny Fever was from LA so he was obviously the man

I have already been to that arena before - to watch my kid sister graduate.
They hand out all of the diplomas at the main ceremony, and our maiden name is towards the end of the alphabet. I wanted to slash my wrists over the boredom. By the time my sister walked across the stage, we were standing up with our coats on, car keys in hand.

But come on Chick...it's so hard to get a degree from Dayton. Weren't you proud?
Lunardi has IU in the Final Four.....so let's all take a deep breath this Novembrer 11th.

It's really hard to not be accurate on Selection Sunday morning. There's MAYBE two spots that aren't pretty much obvious within a seed line one way or the other.
