Sorry for making an entire thread for this, but what is the yellow cutoff / hoodie thing :)

Are those our warmups?
Yes.
Hideous.
Yeah those are real bad. Can't imagine the guys like those...
I love seeing Dr. Lovell in the locker room.

According to some here, that is...creepy
So this is what we get to bitch about this year?
Were female reporters allowed in the locker room during shower time?

I'm guessing that they do. College kids tend to have different fashion sense than old men on message boards.
Guessing Gtown, UNC and Cal will have similar warm ups as it is normally the brand that creates these not the teams

was there with my high school kid and even he said that they looked ridiculous...

Nah, he's just makin' sure da team don't pull a Mizzou, hey?
He's probably there to lead the players who didn't get into the game on a post game conditioning run.
I am not sure what the point is of having shorts and sleeveless tops. They are called "warm-ups" for a reason.
As a mom, I wanted to tell them to put on a sweater so they don't catch a chill.

Well, perhaps, but I am only 3 years removed from Marquette and far from an old man, and I think they're hideous.
A lot of boxers wear those things going into the ring. It's nothing particularly new.

To an 18yo, you're likely an old man ;)
Players don't like shooting in full sleeves

This.
Unless you play for Creighton, amirite?
I don't like the black border/piping, but otherwise they might be alright. I would need to see a picture, but without that they could look like a cutoff hoodie which would be kind of cool.

The guy just wore the new Dry Fit shirts to warm-up though, those hoodies were only worn on the bench (sans the dry fit).
Odd.
Also, from looking at the highlights videos it doesn't look like the hoodie has a jordan logo on the breast like the rest of our jerseys/warmups do.
Double odd.

Nope, they were definitely wearing the hoodies in the last warm-up before tipoff.

Yep...and some were wearing an odd navy blue capri pants style warm-up too. JJJ had his on and rolled up during intros. He looked like the kid who brought the wrong color shorts to a Jr high game.
BTW who is the kid wearing the "thing"?
I thought it was a great spoof to the gold sweater-vests... the modern version is the gold hoodie. Let's see some of the silver-backs and blue hairs wearing some of these to the games!
Wait... there were Navy Capri sweats? Not going to lie... those are huge in Europe for Euro Soccer teams to wear during warm ups. If they sell them, I'm getting one. I have a pair from a trip to Eurocountry, they are great! No teal... this is a fact. love them.
-- Infact... I am thinking maybe they saw these while in Italy and liked them.

I wouldn't sweat it, a completely new inane thing will come along by the end of the week, probably.

I was going to bitch about Heldt and HE's uniform numbers. 12 and 13?!? Big guys need to be #30 and up. This isn't international play! Fischer knows what I'm talking about...

12/13. Such a great day to be born. Most importantly me, but there's also my future wife Taylor Swift.
The hoodies are hideous/pathetic/ugly whatever adjective you want to use... they are flat out bad. They need to be put into a chest, locked up, and buried in the ground for eternity.
Go Warriors.
I think it's official... this thread has been awarded the Abe Simpson Seal of Approval.

Yeah no kidding. If the coaches want them, and the players like them, I could care less. Jeez some people just complain about everything.

Scoop would have had to be shut down for the day because of all the threads demanding to know where they could buy one.

Not sure BeeJay would be down with Taylor 'cuz he's opined that Carrie looks like a horse. Better pm him axin' for his blessin's before poppin' the big question, hey?
Almuni don't like something new? Color me shocked.

Are we talking about the gold wife beater hoodies?
Only a matter of time before some MU women go on a hunger strike to have them and Wojo removed from office.

I really don't give a rat's behind about them, lol. My guess is this is something the players asked for. They remind me of something a European soccer player would wear. Probably had something to do with the Italy trip. If the players like it, then all power to them!

I'm guessing the players didn't have any say in whether they got them or not. Like all other years, it's all about what Nike/Jordan is putting out that season. And this season, it happens to be quite possibly the ugliest "warmup" I've ever seen in any sport.

You are probably right that they didn't ask for them. But if they like them then who cares how ugly they are?
