Surprised this hasn't come up as a topic. How are the locals feeling about this?
Find out this week if the deal goes through.

We're not buying Miller - we're buying the SAB part of SABMiller. Only doing this for better positions in Africa & Australia mainly and a few other markets like Columbia.

We'll sell the Miller Brewing Co. assets to another buyer, most likely MolsonCoors. There will be a few other blocks like the % control of Snow in China but most likely it should go through.

We talked about it a decent amount in the Beer Thread.
Not good for Chicago and Milwaukee as most Miller stuff will likely move to Golden if the Miller assets and brands get snapped up by Molson Coors as expected. PE could potentially step in and keep Miller separate.
