I was watching it before, stopped cuz they were getting clobbered, then flipped it back and they were down by one! switched it back off cuz i didn't want to jinx them by watching it.  ;)

Nova fans would be pleased with your level of commitment to helping them out!

I wish I would have seen this one.  I saw the score and decided not to tune in.  On another note, I saw Mason's boxscore for the game...

I remember people saying that Mason would have a better career than Jerel McNeal.  Ahh... no.

Only 2 points in 18 minutes.  In all fairness I don't know how far he is from returning from his heart issues, but how did he regress so much.

At Marquette he averaged 9 points in 22 minutes his freshman year and 12 points in 30 his sophomore year.

At LSU he averaged 5.4 points in 19 minutes last year and is only averaging 3 points in 17 minutes this year.

How did a fairly quality player fall so hard?

LSU's coach must have emptied his bench, called off the dogs, stopped pressing and forbade his team from shooting 3's a little early.

It's great to see a fellow Catholic basketball school and conference brother win a big game in this manner.  I have a lot of respect for Villanova and their game last night is evidence of why college basketball is perhaps the most entertaining of all the major sports in the country.  Plus, I love games where Raftery is doing the color analysis, because he is funny and really makes a game fun to listen to and watch.
