Wally....for the amazing dunk.
He may yet this season displace Doc's tomahawk dunk.
Thomas. Marquette needs to do the right thing and give that man a contract.
Some stat lines:
Carter 20 pts/6 reb/6 ast
Duane 9 pts / 8 ast / 4 reb / 4 stl
Fischer 19 pts / 8 reb
H Ellenson 18 pts / 7 reb
Heldt 11 reb
Does anyone know the turnovers by player? Lots in this one. It might impact SOG and one other player in the tape room.
I think I'm going with Luke. Traci had too many Frosh turnovers today. But better now than next January.
The team. Our depth is really impressive this year.
Luke. He was a man among boys out there.
Lucas had a all around solid game SOG...
Traci.
Thomas was on top of his game today.
I'll say Luke gets it to close out the summer season with our "Big 4" each getting one. Or does Luke's go to Tommy Crean for not knowing how to use a big and for allowing drug use to run rampant within his program?
Luke. He finished with 19 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 turnover by my count.
Traci would have won it but he had 8 turnovers. That puts him below Luke and Henry in my book.
Luke because of Traci's turnovers. Loved what I saw from Traci, but when you give back almost as many as you score, it's tough to be SOTG. Luke was just solid all around and limited his turnovers, which was an issue for him in the first game.
I'd say Luke is the SOTG because he was so solid and consistent throughout. Plus he has been much more aggressive than he was last year.
By the way does anyone know JJJ's stat line? I thought he played really well offensively and defensively. I know he turned the ball over 7 times, but 4-5 of them had to be on the BS traveling calls. Maybe one of them was legitimately a travel. More importantly, I was very happy with his performance yesterday and his jump shot has looked much improved this summer.

JJJ's line from last night by my count was:
8 points, 1 rebound, 0 assists, 1 steal, 0 blocks, 7 turnovers, 3-6 FG, 1-2 FT, 1-2 3P
Shot definitely looks better and defense is very much improved. But he needs to bring those turnovers down. I know they call travels tight overseas, but 7 turnovers is unacceptable.

I think Assists have to be improved as well.
