I don't know if this website has been posted before but it's a great resource as you can see which voters voted which teams in which position in the AP poll.
http://pollspeak.com/pollstalker/pollstalker.php?r=F&s=3&p=3&w=5&t1=122&t2=0&v=144 (http://pollspeak.com/pollstalker/pollstalker.php?r=F&s=3&p=3&w=5&t1=122&t2=0&v=144)
On the left you can view the data by sorting it by team or sorting it by voter.
When you sort the data by voter it tells in the table how many people voted higher for a certain team and how many people voted lower. In the case of Matt Vautour (link below) of the Daily Hampshire Gazette, he decided to give Ohio State the number one vote and gave Marquette the lowest vote at #20. Not to mention a few other questionable picks. Now I have no problem with him voting Marquette 20. Everyone has their own opinion. But Ohio State number 1? This is the AP poll. This isn't a joke.

If you wish to complain I have taken the liberty of looking up his e-mail address. You can send your complaints by clicking this link http://www.dailyhampshiregazette.com/contactForm.cfm?writer_ID=16&id_no=70065 (http://www.dailyhampshiregazette.com/contactForm.cfm?writer_ID=16&id_no=70065)
MODS NOTE: This website is erroneously reporting 2006 data as 2007. Do NOT send this guy a nasty email!

I think Todd wanted to show how unbiased he was. 17? Come on, Todd!
Umm yeah,
I know its still early and polls really don't mean a whole lot but how can you rank a team below teams that they've beaten head to head? I mean 2 that jump out at me are Wisconsin @ #6, didn't Duke beat them by 24? Yeah, Duke isn't ranked.
Ohio State, didn't UNC beat them at OSU? No that's cool OSU is still better than UNC.
crazy...
Is Mr Vautour a UW grad?
Accounting for both UW's highest ranking and MU's lowest?
A little fishy.
Wow, cool site.
And whoa! There's some crazy guys in the world. Check out Mark Berman's week 4 votes...
http://pollspeak.com/pollstalker/pollstalker.php?s=3&p=3&t1=122&t2=0&v=182&w=4&r=V
Seton Hall in the top 20?
Wait, this dude is ACTUALLY part of the AP that contributes to the REAL rankings?
Yup. Ohio State got a first place vote in this week's AP Poll.
What a douche! ....is that appropriate for me to say that on the forums? Douche?
As moderators we consider who, what, where and why when dealing with insults. In this case we've ruled that "douche" is acceptable.
Is nobody here able to put 2 and 2 together? That's clearly from last season. No Duke, and Florida and Ohio State are in the top 3. Cmon.

OK, then, how did this douche get a job writing about college basketball? Is he serious? Has he watched a game in his life?
Todd still has us at 17. :-\

Putting aside Vatour, who's ballot may or may not reflect the 2007 season, only two other writers have MU lower, while 65 writers have us higher.

He must not like us. Or just hates MU in general. Maybe he's a Badger fan? Or related to Bo Ryan?
Or maybe he's more familiar with us than the other guys?
Or maybe he knows the extent of Fitzgerald's injury and the impact it will have on the team, while I doubt any writer outside 60 miles of Wisconsin has a clue who Fitzgerald is...
I have been told that although TR does a good job of providing unbiased reporting on the Golden Eagles, he is FAR from being a "fan" of the team.

I'm pretty sure the poll is from the current season:
http://pollspeak.com/pollstalker/pollstalker.php?r=T&s=3&p=3&w=5&t1=122&t2=74&v=144
http://sports-ak.espn.go.com/ncb/rankings
The first link is a breakdown in votes for MU and Ohio State. As you can see, there were 2 AP people that voted Ohio State into the top 25 and only one douche that put them at #1. The second link shows that there were, in fact 2 votes for Ohio State confirming the "AP" people that voted for them. Whether he's trying to be funny or not is beyond me, but if I sent him a nasty e-mail (IF I did), I wouldn't apologize. If anything HE'D be the one to apologize to ME for being a D....Oh yeah, I'm telling you how I really feel :P
It's for sure this season. Ohio State would have recieved more than one #1 and one #24 place vote last season.
This is the real deal.
The "others receiving votes" tracks points, not total votes. The formula is something like 25 points for a first place vote, 24 for a second, etc. Ohio State has 2 points. Either one person had them at #24 or two had them at #25. Likewise, Florida has 13 points. That indicates that no one could have voted them as high as #3.
If that doesn't convince you, there are 72 total voters. 45 first-place votes went to North Carolina, 22 to Memphis, 2 to Kansas, 2 to Texas, and 1 to Georgetown. Add it up!
The Pollspeak website, for whatever reason, just didn't update properly for that guy's ballot.
No it shows exactly what voter voted for what team and in one spot. Two sportswriters voted for Ohio State. One guy voted them at #1 another at #24. Noone else voted for them.

It seems that pollspeak also sometimes has errors in the ballots reported as seen here:
http://pollspeak.com/index.html (http://pollspeak.com/index.html)
As seen in the first message an Arizona voter had some "clerical issues." This on top of Cooby snacks count of first place votes should sway anyone into seeing this error.
The errors it mentioned are simple. It said it switched Arizona and Arizona State and it labeled one persons ballet at someone elses.
Well then again maybe it is incorrect. CoobySnacks link does seem to go against pollspeak.

Irregardless, this is the poll for this week of this year. I truly believe these are this guys picks.
I truly believe that they're not.
Look at this argument:
72 total voters.
From ESPN: http://sports-ak.espn.go.com/ncb/rankings (http://sports-ak.espn.go.com/ncb/rankings)
UNC: 46 1st place votes
Memphis: 21
Kansas: 2
Texas: 2
Georgetown: 1
Correct me if I'm wrong but that's 72 votes, leaving none for Ohio State.
EDIT: Didn't mean to come off harshly after you looked at the AP site.
My apoligies, I was wrong. Pollspeak is wrong.
It gave everyone else's picks for this year so I figured these were his picks for this year too. I should have known it wasn't the coaches poll! ;D
Can we still call him a douche?

DOUCHEBAG!
Hello from Pollspeak,
Just noticed this thread and wanted to let you know that the information on Pollspeak was correct....as of Monday. It seems the AP is still working out the kinks in their basketball ballots. Our data comes directly from the AP and that is what their records showed on Monday. However, as they have been finding errors they have been correcting them. Some that we have noticed:
Ed Daigneault -- told us that there was a clerical error with his ballot.
It was swapped with somebody else's and also there was a mix up with
Arizona and Arizona State.
Matt Vautour -- his ballot has changed considerably since it was first
released on Monday. But notably, he had Ohio State #1...no longer.
Mark Berman -- now has Sam Houston State #25 (previously nobody had voted
for them as of Monday).
Just to reiterate, these are not Pollspeak errors and we have updated our database to match the updated AP ballots. We have also asked the AP for a comment and if they respond, it will be placed on our homepage.
Nice Response
It's great to see that they're holding these people accountable....Sam Houston State @ 25....Jebuz.
Didn't Yosemite Sam State just beat UWM, though? If that's not reason to be nationally ranked, I don't know hwat is ;)

I have been told that although TR does a good job of providing unbiased reporting on the Warriors, he is FAR from being a "fan" of the team.
As a member of the media, that's fine. It doesn't show in his writing. I wish there were far fewer members of the media in this state that weren't unabashed fans of all things Green and Gold and Red and White, where it does show in their reporting.
