I'm not going to post the link, but if you were to go over to the Dodd's board, you would find some observations from Dodds, who has actually been to the last couple of practices. Interesting stuff, like the coaches having Henry push the ball on his own after a defensive rebound. Like Heldt looking like he has spent a lot of time in the weight room. Just sayin'.......
When he says that he hopes MU can get to 5th or 6th in the BE to get a bid, he is dreaming.
With their schedule, there is no way that a 6th place finish will get a bid. Probably not a 5th place either.

Lunardi and others have indicated that the Big East should expect 5 teams in. I agree that 6 may be pushing it, but 5 is certainly reasonable.

I think nova, gtwn, butler, and x are locks. I think Creighton, mu, and prov are on the wrong side of the bubble. But it only takes one of those teams exceeding expectations to make it five
Yup, need top 5 for a bid. I expect top 5. I think we're behind Butler and Nova for sure. I think we're in the mix with Xavier and Georgetown for 3-5.
If you read Matty V's blog, you can get similar-quality tidbits, a'ina?

Sounds like HE may give us a Point Center option. :)

I can't wait for a forward who plays point-center.

Yes...without the...unbearable...Stevie from Malcolm...in the...Middle...typing impression.
I've really liked everything I've heard about Rowsey. I think he is going to be a much better addition than any of us anticipated.

Don't quibble. I've wanted a point center for years. ::)

Maybe you heard some scuttlebutt, but did you observe it in person?

Marquette has been posting a few videos a day on twitter from both open and closed practices, did you miss a lot of them?

Rowsey can shoot, plays with alotta heart and once he gets going can put up numbers. I saw him play against Liberty he dropped like 34 but the Big East is a whole different ball game and level of competition... Hope he does well tho.

Thanks alot. I still have alotta respect for you guys loved the debates, spats and ect. We wish well for the team this coming season. The memories and moments my family spent with the current and former players at Marquette will last a lifetime. Sitting out last season was a bummer but John is doing great at Liberty has developed a bunch and looks forward to his first season under Coach McKay.
