A great and candid read for those that want to learn more about him.

Watching it on Spike tonight. It hit me that not only did I straddle the Majerus/Dukiet era at MU, I met Chris Farley AND Scott Walker.

We watched on Spike tonight as well.
Still waiting for some to recreate that Tommy Boy jacket, including the front patch. I'd buy one.
Down by the river...great article on Matt Foley.

As would I. My first campus visit was moving my brother in the Fall of 98. I was severely disappointed that the jacket wasn't available for purchase in the store. I was 12 at the time.
If people didn't get a chance to watch it, I strongly recommend it. I caught it on Spike last night. It tells his story well and makes you laugh along the way. I think he would have liked that.

Glow and I went to the Music Box in Chicago a couple of weekends ago and saw it on the big screen. It was in a tiny screening room - maybe about 75 seats, but it was sold out at least a half-hour in advance. They probably should have switched it with the French Film Festival they had in the main theater.
We sat near a bunch of Second City students who thought it was very cool that we went to Marquette with Chris.

Great story and venue!
I thought that he was from Sandusky, OH. Just kidding, but I didn't know, until watching, that Tommy Boy had bad reviews. I should've guessed that though ... the film critics and I don't generally agree on movies.

Name dropper...
I'm told that Marquette is working on a 'program'. I'd expect it to take the form of a Farley fundraising event at the Varsity. I have no further details at this time but I'm sure it'll be a fun evening.

They already had a "program" that Farley was a proud member of. It was FFP and then Pilarz had to go and get rid of it for no good reason. Thanks a lot Scott.
Btw the documentary was really good. Obviously a little sad at the end, but overall I thought it was a nice film.
will it be shown again and/or would i be able to find it on demand?
