I know we all like to make fun of the term "switchable" but isn't it kind of crazy how the switchable is now coveted by the NBA? Jimmy Butler and Wes Matthews were both very prepared to succeed in the NBA because of their ability to guard 1-4. (obviously it is also key that they can make threes). The Golden State Warriors was a team full of switchables + steph Curry. Should we all eat some crow about our constant barbs on the switchable? People smarter than me please discuss.

Brent.......is that you?
Good players that provide flexibility are appreciated by the NBA. Titles and labels are meaningless. Do not believe that is news. What is news is how it is reported as if it were a new concept.

Here's the deal: Buzz talked a lot about switchables, and then turned around and had rotations where he would say "guy A can only sub in for guy B."
Buzz was absolutely right about the value of switchables. He just never actually, y'know, had any. Thus, the jokes.

Exactly. And we didn't complain about them when we had them either. And Wojo is recruiting players who are just as easily called switchables as well. Henry...Haanif...
