Previous round summary:  Myron has seemingly struggled in the first two rounds as a one seed, but winning is all that matters.  They advanced a too relaxed by far I be chillin doe to earn their first sweet sixteen bid in their meme history.  Myron will be taking on JFB who in an absolute thrashing took at the defending meme champion, Haikus.  JFB seems to be on a mission to win it all this year, it's just a question of whether Myron can channel some of it's inner troll to sneak out a victory.

Myron Metcalf, SuperTroll

This one is spectacular, and not easy to explain.  There is an ESPN basketball analyst, Myron Metcalf who has shown a propensity to write negative things about MU.  He published a story about disappointing teams in the 2015 season.  Unbeknownst to the Scoop community Benny B decided to troll them by adding text that made it look like Myron was unjustifiably attacking MU basketball.  Scoopers took this seriously and decided to use social media to berate Myron.  Here's where it gets good....even after Benny was outted in the thread Scoopers still thought it was real and got re-trolled.  Additionally, Myron in his zeal to defend himself, outted himself as the Skip Bayless of college basketball.  It was so meta as to blow your mind

JFB

Nickname for one of Marquette's best players in the 2000s, Jimmy Butler.  A thread looking for a nickname produced this co-development.  Ziggy proposed Jimmy F*cking Butler and IAmMarquette followed it up with the acronym, sealing it in MUScoop history

100% truth... I was walking through MSP this morning, and I ran into someone who looked exactly like Myron Medcalf; I didn't think much of it at the time except for "dang, that really looks like Myron Medcalf."  Then as I'm getting ready to board my plane back home, I think to myself, "doesn't Myron live in the Twin Cities?"  At that point, my stomach dropped... I'm 95% positive it was him.

He doesn't know me, but I bet he knows of me thanks to Brew.   Had I been sure it was him when our paths crossed, and given how much coffee I drank this morning, I would have definitely open-trolled him to his face right there in the middle of Terminal E.  Talk about all-time missed opportunities.  Now I know how Bill Buckner felt.

I now will now proceed forward with my life having one regret.
